For those interested in where this ranks - https://www.overclock.net/forum/74-graphics-cards-general/50…

    • thanks . thats a cool list.
      bookmarked

        Try this one too
        https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

Also if you scroll down you can see the video cards in some boxes. The idea is that when you upgrade you should try to upgrade at least 2 levels, moving from 1 level to 1 up is not worth it.

        • so if I go from 1070 ti to 2070 is that a level up?

          • @NanookOz: In short, yes. It out performs the 1080 in some aspects aswell

Idk how good that list is if they put the rtx 2060 above Vega 64

      • +1

In many gaming benchmarks the 2060 is within spitting distance of the 1080, although in (non-AI) workstation tasks the Vega 64 would shit on the 2060

  • +1 for Galax. I've had my 980 since they released it and it hasn't skipped a beat

    • the only thing is Galax has 2 year warranty Vs others 3 years

      • Strange why in Oz its only 2 years as in countries like Thailand, Galax gives 3 years.

        • that is strange, didnt know about that

      • They decided to set themselves apart from the leaders..

Possible to use usb c for a fourth monitor?

    • Only has 2x DisplayPort 1x hdmi (versions 1.4 and 2.0b respectively)

So thought I'd secure this while I did some more reading about the upcoming Navi cards, but turns out there is no confirmation after PayPal and now I'm the owner of a new 2070.

For those choosing between this and the 1080/1080ti, just keep in mind that DLSS and new shaders that benefit the 20 series could see benefits in some upcoming titles. Also I belive this card is eligible for the Anthem OR BFV free offer: http://www.galax.com/en/webforms/index/index/id/76/

Though DLSS only works on 4k resolution I believe?
Useless for us on ultrawide, be or 1440 correct?

      • No you're right, as of now it only works on 4K in FFXV. I've never found a clear answer if it will eventually run on 1440p, but I'd be surprised and very disappointed in Nvidia if it didn't.

  • Can't purchase this online anymore :(
