50% off Blackridge Nail Gun $82.41 @ Supercheap Auto

Blackridge Air Nailer Framing 34Deg - 50-90mm

I thought this deal was worth singling out from the current 50% items at SCA https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/434871

As far as bang for buck goes this is great for the DIYer and best of all if it packs up you have a local store to seek replacement from.
I am currently using the Ryobi framing gun from Bunnings with almost identical specs yet has a smaller nail capacity by 10nails.

This gun will work with Paslode nails upto 90mm. It is also the same gun being sold by Edison's which is the UNIMAC brand

Anyone know what the smallest compressor that you could get away with usong for this is?

    • +1

im no expert, but a small compressor should be fine. It says 70PSI in the manual. Not sure what size machine that is, but as this is not like a continuous air tool like a paint gun, even the smallest compressor should be able to feed it.

      • Correct I'm using a small 24L Ozito compressor atm and it nails ok at a slow pace. It tends to not drive the 90mm nails after a few have been fired then it kicks in and fills up again. Works perfectly with 75mm and below nails.
I'd say a 50L minimum compressor would be the go if you are using it continually otherwise a small one works fine.

Building a shed. Snapped one up as I reckon this would be cheaper than hiring one…esp if I sell at shed completion.
