  • Can't find it on their website
    https://mcdonalds.com.au/loose-change-menu
    Is that nationwide?

    • It's on the front page of McDonald's.com.au . Unfortunately we don't have fair use in Australia so, I can't put a screenshot on ozbargain.

      • Thanks

  • Its showing in the app.

  • Pair this with free McFlurry with any purchase on the app.

    • Hey? o.O

      • Probably targeted.

        • +1

Oh, in rewards section then… Cheers

  • I would like to ask genuine question: how should Sundae be served in Maccas?

    • Topping bottom, soft serve then topping on top?
    • Soft serve with topping on top only?
    • +3

      It's called a topping for a reason.

I was so furious when one employee served me with topping on top only that I decided to make a scene and the manager said to the girl to make the Sundae how I prefer it.

        • +1

Haha you're not going to like McFlurry then.

        • +3

You sir are the Rosa Parks of sundae injustice. I stand with your cause.

I was so furious when one employee served me with topping on top only that I decided to make a scene

You made a scene because you were served something the way it was supposed to be?

          • @spaceflight: I was misled by another colleague of Maccas from different branch and she made it so ever perfectly with topping on bottom, soft serve then finished with topping on top. Since then, that was my standard for Maccas sundae.

            • +5

@tempura: The large sundaes are routinely topping, ice cream, topping. the smalls however are generally only icecream then topping.

    • +2

Top only is a small, topping top and bottom is for large where I'm from o.O

      • What a stingy corporation

        • Soft serve is 70c now lol

    • Topping

      You answered your own question

      Here's a photo https://mcdonalds.com.au/menu/hot-fudge-sundae

      • Hang on hang on HANG ON, why should it be made 1 way and 1 way only?

        • Ever heard of consistency or expectations?

If you want it different from the standard you need to ask.

Without this people can get "misled by another colleague of Maccas from different branch" and get furious and make a scene.

you sound like a (profanity). grow up imagine throwing a fit at maccas because the sundae wasnt made the way you like it. tell them beforehand if you are so particular

      • That's a small sundae. Find a picture of a large sundae and there'll be topping at the bottom. Like this one, from the app.

  • Had a caramel Sunday the other day and it made me feel really sick, not sure why. Don't think I'll be having it again. Anyone else have the same issue?

    • No, because i only do strawberry and strawberry only. On bottom then cream then top it up.

      yolo

    • No.

    • I choose not to ride a high horse, keeps me regular.

        Guys don't be smart please.

  • I went to the counter to ask about this today and the cashier said i needed a code. I dunno why, because i just walked back to the touchscreen order panel and i could order it for a buck just fine lol

    • +2

They wouldn't know about the promotion as it only begun today. They're still in the mindset that the $1 Sundae still comes from the rewards section on the online ordering app. Let them know next time that it's a new promotion. It'll show normal price at first but after they total it, then it goes down to $1.

  • The self service kiosk says that this deal ends on 26/2.

    • I've amended it now as I was not sure when this was going to end.
