    The bag has been specifically designed for women

    just what i needed in my upcoming gender transition i didn't know i wanted until now!

      I wouldn't think it's gender specific. The fairview is the farpoint but slightly altered for smaller bodies.
      For example, the straps allow for the backpack to sit higher on a smaller torso, and the hip strap is higher so it actually sits on your waist instead of your hips.

    This is a great backpack. Used it for 3 months in Europe. Opens up fully which makes packing much easier. Had no issues with checking in as hand luggage for all flights. Straps are slightly curved around chest area which makes it more comfortable for woman.

    Osprey bags are fantastic. We have been using Farpoint 40s for a few years and during our travel stints (from 10 to 30odd days at a time) they have held up and just been great.

    Would you believe it arrived this morning via Australia Post. I notice it came via customs so think it was shipped fron offshore, but here in a week, so all good.
    Shame there is no notification of shipping from Wiggle, as all the tracking is there once it gets delivered and you get the tracking number.

    Does anyone know if you can use this bag when flying with Jetstar as their policy states a 7kg carry on bag must be 56cm (height) x 36cm (width) x 23cm (depth) whereas this Osprey bag is 54cm (height) x 35cm (width) x 35cm (depth). Depth isn't within Jetstar's carry on allowance. Cheers!

      Please disregard my question as I just checked Osprey's own website and it states that the bag's dimensions are actually 54cm (height) x 35cm (width) x 23cm (depth).
