There isn't many good deals from tech fast lately. Bit disappointing

  • Great deal again, I have brought Ryzen 5, RTX 2080 last year. Luckily received a gigabyte Motherboard, and MSI RTX2080, I have replaced ram, psi, and case. So far working great! Tech Fast is a really good guy, much better than thegoodguys. (still waiting for my Xbox one x)

    • What kind of PSI numbers you running?

Be aware Tech "Fast" are natourisly slow to dispatch.
Purchased a standard config system Jan 20th with an ETA of Jan 31st.
Receieved shipping confirmation Jan 23rd, every thing was looking good.
Problem was the tracking never updated.
Called today to find out the PC has not been built as yet.
They anticipate another week or so till they get round to it.

If you need something quickly, look elsewhere.

People buying prebuilts should not expect to get it soon, even Linustechtips when he bought all those prebuilts to review recently said average time it takes to dispaatch is 20 days. Considering the time it takes them to build so many orders this is to be expected and many should already know that before buying prebuilts. I admit tho the ebay ETA dates is misleading and should be showing more accurate dates

Ahh agent Jenice ordering a "gaming" pc for her brother, caught those episodes of LTT.

The issue is the item was advertised with an ETA.
If I was ordering a custom build thats a different story, the system was there basic fixed config.
Figured they sell these things in bulk, they are advertising an ETA.
Perhapps they have these fixed config systems stacked high ready to go?
        The more you know..

        • +1

Pretty sure they have stated it themselves that they build only once they get an order, they are a new company as far as i know and they probably cant afford to have high stacked systems ready to go whenever.

They needa get a better system together to keep people up to date with realistic shipping times.

As per Linus Tech Tips video on pre-builts, 20 days~ is a pretty normal shipping time. It's when people think it's coming in 1 week that it seems like a crazy long time.

  • It seems pretty good deal! What's the manufacturer of the video card though?

    • 2080 is between galax, ASUS (the turbo card, blower style) or MSI (duke?) I believe.

I have received a MSI GAMING X TRIO with my last Christmas order (msy price 1499 atm). Am I the lucky one?:-)

  • So I bought the "Ryzen 5 2600 RX 580 8GB 120GB SSD 8GB DDR4 Gaming Computer Desktop PC" deal in December. It finally arrived but has major issues. This is the problem:
I install Windows 10 from USB with no problem. Then Windows loads up and I go through all the setup options with no problem. Then once I'm in Windows there's no issues until about 2 or 3 minutes in, then the computer just goes black screen. I restart the computer and it's as if Windows was never installed. I've installed Windows several times now and still the same problem. I've tried a different SSD and still the same problem so it's not the hard drive.

Does anyone have any ideas?? This is very frustrating.

Got it working now. It was a bad Windows installer.

  • I know the wait time for these builds are long I was just wondering if I should purchase one now as I leave for Europe in the middle of March.

How are people finding the build quality that have received theirs?
