  • No USB functionally at all, at that price, so not a great deal compared to Harvey's that has a BUSH 19" for $168 with USB PVR and media playback

  • this is better than buying a tv tuner card?

    • +1

      ???
How exactly is a TV tuner card comparable to a TV?

  • he might be talking about the Bush tv with usb pvr and media playback functions, if you're always in front of a pc screen a tv tuner card is the way to go, otherwise for the extra few dollars the Bush looks good

  • Bush one sounds good if it's got a usb input with ability to record.
But is it an LED or an LCD?
    Also, this has 2xHDMI input.

The good thing about this deal, it is LED. My plan is to hook up a $50 HD set top box with usb port. So about $200 total. $32 more, plus i'm getting LED screen, and more ports.

    • maybe spend $70 more, and you'll get extra 3" + a built-in DVD player with a FULLHD LED TV?

      • Yeah that's pretty good. Actually it's an extra 4.5"; 18.5" vs 23".
        It's also got 2yrs warranty.

Tempting. It's for my mum, and i thought that my brother could give her the set top box for mothers day, and i would give her a 500gb external HD.
So it's only $148 outlay for her, compared with $269. She was only just prepared to buy it at $148. Hmmm. Might return it, if possible. Will have a think. Thanks.

    • Yep it was LED.

  • I thought this deal was really tops, but now i see that it's only, OK.

Torn between keeping the Changhong, getting the Bush with PVR funct, or getting the Bauhn with PVR func + much bigger + FullHD + DVD.

Does anyone know if either of these PVR equipt TV's have ability to edit video files?
Also, does one accept more formats than other?
I wonder about a set top box with usb, if it has better functions.

Good thing Clive Peeters, and Aldi have good return policy.
