    Picked up a copy of Elder Scrolls Online. Anyone know if it activates on Steam?

      I don't think it does, it uses its own launcher (not a bethesda launcher but an ESO launcher), and even if it was a Steam key it would still run through the launcher separately. Not sure if they fixed it but you'd have to download the game on Steam and as soon as you launched it you'd have a ton more to download, not cool.

      You can play the game by yourself but it's permanently online.

      MMO's typically dont have an offline mode, same goes to games that have "online" in the title. :P

        This was my concern. At 4 bucks I just pukled the trigger but who knows if anyone will be playing this by the time i get to it? Assumong there is no "campaign"
