As advertised in todays Herald Sun on page 26, Clive Peeters have a 50 inch Full High Def Plasma TV (Changhong branded) for only $688, apparently for today only. Price on webiste still says $799 with an original RRP of $1199. Surely this has to be one of the cheapest 50 inch full high defs around.

This is probably not the most glorious TV going around, but for this price would be great for a second telly, or if you have a dodgy love life it would be great for the bedroom.

    Apparently they make their own plasma panels (one of only 4 who do and is the only Chinese manufacturer)

    Took a look in the store. Definitely value for money. Some of the newer plasma models are so expensive compared to the 3D LED TVs. I wonder why that is?
