I was looking for the 4gb Aus version and found this one instead. Not a bad deal IMHO. Hope it's useful to someone.

Wait for LG G8 for another price drop if yiy really want LG phones.

    • Yeah the newer versions really effect older LGs unlike other brands.

    OnePlus >>>>>> LG x10000

    • Not in audio quality (which is paramount to me).

I got the V30 from the JB deal and it is absolutely superb. Fast, excellent screen and build quality. Just hope it lasts.

Got 7.5 SOT with medium usage the first day. Hugely impressed. Hope it stays that way for a while.

Best thing about OnePlus is how fast they are. The OnePlus 6T supposedly doesn't slow down the way other phones do

      • Yeah the V30 really is an underrated phone. In addition to what you've mentioned, the wide-angle lens is so useful. Especially in small rooms where you can't keep taking steps back. I'd take the wide-angle over a telephoto any day. Also it doesn't have a ridiculous notch. BTW not hating on OnePlus, I had a OnePlus One and it was one of my favorite phones ever and the notch on the 6T isn't as bad as others.

  • Newer and better than v30 right ?

Newer, yep. Better, subjective but probably.

      In terms of the display:
If you don't like notches, G7+ has one but V30 doesn't.
G7+ has an LCD, not OLED like V30. But the V30 OLED had issues in the earlier units (I think the newer ones are mostly ok) and LG LCDs are some of the best and the one on the G7+ is very bright.

  • Price match it at officeworks for around $570 mark!

Doesn’t it have to be a .com.au domain for Officeworks to price match?

  • +1

Price doesn’t include shipping, which in an extra $15 - $52 depending on which method you choose. mymobile_store on eBay has the G7 for $634 (blue) including free express shipping. Use code PUSH5 for 5% and it’s $602 including express shipping. It’s $603 including express shipping direct through their website. My Mobile has a physical presence in Australia, and warranty returns only need to be forwarded to Brisbane.

    • That's the 4GB/64GB version though…

      • Ah yep, my bad.

Based on my recent experience, I would highly recommend not to buy from them.

I ordered a phone and for next 7 days there was no update. The only way you can contact them is through message and after submitting a query they informed me that they dont have the phone in stock. I informed them that, I can see you have alternative colours and they offered me a different colour with lowers specs. As a result, I declined the offer and told them to refund. I am still waiting for response…………

  • Personally I wouldn't recommend to buy anything from eglobal as I am having lot of trouble claiming through warranty for a phone I bought from them 6 months ago. First of all they dont have any numbers to ring and won't reply your email, finally they respond and keep asking 1 question a day and respond back every 3rd day. They asked me to send video as the fault with the phone was suddenly stopped charging. Now after all they send details to post the phone back to Hong Kong. Very frustrating, I dont want this to happen to anyone else.
