The best Hacker News client on iOS I've found so far since the move from Android (Nexus S, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 5X - last 3 had hardware issues, pissed off) to iOS (iPhone 7+ at that time).

I used to use Materialistic on Android which wich is amazing. Octal is relatively new (I knew it 2 or 3 month ago for the 1st time). It offers similar design and user experience to Materialistic.

Developer appeared to be making it free during the Chinese (Lunar) New Year holiday period, I am not sure if he is Chinese though. Thumbs up to him for making such a beautiful app (for only a niche group of people).

        That's in reply to OP's comment about whether the developer is Chinese because of Chinese New Year. Wu is a Chinese surname.

        Free app is a good thing.
