If speed matters just go with the more expensive one where shipping costs more than the product itself. :^)
Actually USB 3.1 is irrelevant at this capacity. And if i am correct its even irrelevant at 256GB. 256GB at Max read speed of 300MB/s will not even saturate USB 3.0.
If going for economy, speed and reliability, its best to buy a 500GB SSD and a good 3.1 external shell for around $120.
One is paying this thumb drive more for convenience, and its cheap for the type of metal build.
So eBay moving towards making deals shittier for non-plus members while keeping it same for plus payers.
And I'm spending around 1/2 what I did last year.

Got an eBay message saying they were unable to fulfill the 32GB due to an unexpected stock cancellation, and got upgraded to the 64GB for free. Very nice surprise, expected it to just be cancelled if they were OOS.

SanDisk Ultra 32gb $13.50 Slightly better price although it's only USB 3.0 not 3.1 (and a different brand) + it has free postage for us non-plus members.
