[NSW] $50 Cat Desexing + F3 Vaccination @ Bathurst Regional Council

Operation Cat Bathurst

For a limited time, the Cat Protection Society NSW Inc is offering $50 cat desexing plus F3 vaccination for health care card holders and pensioners who are residents of the Bathurst LGA. In conjunction, Council is also offering microchipping free of charge as part of the 'Operation Cat' program.

Bookings for the program must be made by calling 9519 7201 (Monday - Friday, between 9am and 4pm).

The program commenced Monday 14 January and concludes on 22 February. This date will vary depending on available slots. Availability is limited to 80 spots.

  • Not sure how many cats are gonna be a pensioner or hold a health care card… Let alone be able to operate a phone or call the council.

    • Many councils have a similar program for dog and cat owners who have a concession card. My brother who lives in the Bankstown council area got his dog desexed and vaccinated for $65. The council next door had no such program. Some councils such as Camden arrange desexing of male cats for $35.

      In July each year a number of vets and pet organisations take part in the National Desexing Month offering subsidised desexing to concession card holders.

    Where to look for human desexing? Never seen it on Ozbargain. We need to stop the breeding of low IQs.
