Interesting, the previous Nokia 5 did have NFC. Worth checking what you can get on ebay. There are used dual SIM versions available for less than $200.
Not very keen on the Mediatek MTK processor
My wife has this phone. She hates its camera (constantly tries to re-focus) and also some functions are restricted (such as the ability to send group MMS).
For context, her previous phone was the Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 model, which she loved using.
Why did she buy this phone?
It was a toss up between this and an Oppo (I think the A5?) as they were similarly priced and we were on a budget. I read some reviews and thought the Nokia was the better buy, so suggested she go with that.
Should of stuck with A5 great phone
Yeah, the A5 was great. Would have stuck with it, but the screen was stuffed.
Should have spent the money on repairing it, but as they say "Hindsight is a wonderful thing!" :-)

Agree the Nokia 6.1 is only 20 bucks more for much better specs
It seems to be $50 more at JB. But then again it does come with a Snapdragon 630 chipset which i would have thought is superior compared to what comes with the Nokia 5.1 model.
Sorry yes at JB it's 50 more online it's cheaper but no local 24month warranty, plus you get NFC if the 5.1 doesn't have it. Personally I'd go another budget phone at the 350 mark

This could be a great replacement for my Nexus 5x (5ish inch, mid level), but alas, no NFC :(
