Groupon up to 30%.

Everything I've checked seems to be 20% (as of 12:50am) which is rare so I think its worth posting. Not sure if intended.

  • Any increased cashback to stack with this deal?

    Dupe

Edit: no longer a dupe. Been revised against chibots deal

  • I got a $1.80 Mystery Discount off for an order of 8 tickets ($72) !
    cancelled transaction

    • Buy 1 at a time.

    • Discount is generally applied for one voucher per transaction only. So best to buy your deals one at a time.

  • My local GC before 5pm is $22.50 so okay for the weekends I guess

  • Thankss OP. Got a couple restaurant deals at 20% off.

wait for a 15% off + 15% cashback or more… works out better

  • Edit

Thumbs up - Cashrewards now 15% and have code listed.
Thumbs down - Event Cinema movie tickets only valid to 28 Feb.

  • +2

Good deal, but there doesn't seem to be any good movies coming out in February. Those interested in buying might want to check what they'd use it on given its short expiry.

      This!
"Tickets are valid from 1 Feb 2019 to 28 Feb 2019"

    • Alita!

  • If I select 1 (General) ticket, i get 20% off but if i change qty to 2 tix i only get 10% off so maybe buy one at a time for max savings?

    • +1

      Buy them individually

  • +2

Worth mentioning EXCLUDES VIC for Event cinema

  • Note to everyone saying they are only getting the discount off of 1 item when buying multiple items at the same time.
When you use a Groupon discount code you need to buy each item individually, e.g buying 10 cinema tickets you have to do 10 seperate purchases

  • Not Victoria?! Discrimination

  • Thanks! 20% off beauty deal :)

    • +1

You are already at maximum beautifulness

But now you will be 120% beautiful!

      • Aw, shucks… thanks! :D

      • Go to thailand, every male becomes beautiful instantly!

  • Anyone know what the VMAX surcharge is? My local Event Cinemas (Innaloo WA) have limited standard sessions after 5pm for new releases, seemingly to funnel us into the higher tier cinemas.

  • only getting 45c off the $9 ticket now?

    • same here.

As others have mentioned the discount is no longer between 20 - 30%, I checked some restaurant deals when this was first posted and they all were given a 20% discount, now however they're between 5 - 10%.

    • Is this some sort of lucky draw discount? One product I looked at recently had 20% discount so decided I'll buy it when I reach home (no CR or Groupon) at work.
Now I check again after your comment and it's gone down to 12%

party over for 20%… back like typical 5-8% for food deal, even health deal ~12%… should've act now not wait till back home buy tonight. not really good bargain anymore.

groupon could've told us 20% until midday or sort not just quickly adjust lower discount without notice as they did mention for whole today…

    • Yes - throughout the day I've noticed discounts dropping from 20% to 5% on the same product - even with different accounts. Lucky I grabbed a couple early!

    • +1

I think the 20% off was more of an error than an intentional discount. Once Groupon realised their mistake they corrected it. Haven't seen a Groupon 20% off in ages…..

      • -1

Yep I rolled my eyes at the neg. I assumed it was a mistake. OP even said in the tiny blurb “not sure if intended” and this negger waits til they get back home then negs. And the deal was up for like 10 hours. Then whinges about the terms saying til midnight but is oblivious to the term “up to 30% off” which remains true.

  • Event cinema tickets now $8.55 each.

  • do they have a cinema in Melbourne? I don't think so.

  • I bought 2 of these and now want to buy tix for Alita advanced screening for this sat but it shows as $8 each in the app.
So on top of the 8 bucks i paid to groupon, i have to fork another 8 bucks for the session wtf.. Advanced screening is not mentioned in the T n C..

If I choose other movie, it shows 0..grrr.. Worth raising this up to groupon?
