Received an email from Telstra for this promotion since I have the broadband with them. (Maybe targeted).

If you sign up for a new phone and plan you'll score up to $480 credit. Simply remain connected with us for 24 months for both fixed broadband and mobile services - and, if you order online now, we'll add a bonus $100 welcome credit.

  Great offer. Targeted, received email. Can't do in Telstra shop, only chat or phone or online. Tried a few days ago. Online didn't work. Telstra chat rep had no clue! Offer gives you up to $20 discount on your monthly plan. $90 cash rewards or $125 ShopBack. Offer didn't show on Google Chrome but was there on Safari.

    Just have a chat with them. If you need note 9, only choice is 128GB note 9 for $89/month for 50GB plan for 24 months ($480 discount included, if doing online another $100 off).
    NBN plan will be discussed with Telstra (you may have $70 for 200GB/month for NBN or more upgraded plan).
    The bottom line is it is a targeted offer.

  $20 mobile discount is eaten up by their overpriced broadband anyway.
  Good deal if you have no other options, but I'd want more than $20 a month to be locked to telstra for another 24 months.

  Aldi mobile (Telstra Network) + MyRepublic with fixed IP is lots better than Telstra.

  Telstra .. no fix IP.
