    I think this is an error.

        Same happened to me. I emailed them and actually received a reply already with a sales order confirming the bonus battery. They advised on back order though

      Not sure, but rumor has it canon is releasing a new full frame mirrorless mid Feb and Sony's answer is to chop 200 USD off of the RRP for the a7iii. Maybe price cuts on accessories will get some on the fence people to jump ship? Camera house also have discounts on Sony mirrorless and gm lenses too.
