  • Anyone got one? Any good?

    • Just noticed we have one at work. Not bad for the price, better than Tv speakers. Might grab one for home tbh. Would be decent if paired with a small sub of some kind.

Pay $69 for a soundbar , and you'll get $69 worth of sound quality.

Will it be better quality if I wait for the sale to end?

        • +1

It will still remain the same sound quality of an audio item that probably cost less than $20 to manufacture in China

          • @Cheep Charlie: I might just order from Aliexpress and cut out the middle man

@Cheep Charlie: I bought the Aldi $69 soundbar when it was available a few weeks back. I've compared it to my Yamaha YAS-105, and it's nowhere near as much a difference as the price tags would suggest.

The Yamaha has more features and slightly better bass, but the cheap soundbars are nothing to be sneezed at.

  • Kinda looks like the Laser SB160, which has HDMI ARC as well

    • has the hdmi arc logo on the left

I bought one with my Kogan tv as just wanted to spend as little as possible for my room. I'm really happy with it and don't have a huge room, obviously base is lacking but for the price I would definitely buy it again (heaps better than tv speakers). In my lounge room I spent more and got a Yamaha ATS1080B Soundbar and feel like that is heaps better in sound quality/settings but also needed to add additional subwoofer anyway as loungeroom is too big really for the inbuilt sub. If I knew what I did now I would still go cheap in my bedroom and get the Kogan :) Hope this helps.

The two people that downvoted me: are you guys deaf? The sound quality on this thing is rubbish.

This is a form of false advertising that shouldn’t be supported.

      • +1

Make that 3 people who downvoted you. Your statement is seemingly based on… Well, I can't work out what it's based on?
It certainly doesn't add anything of meaning to the conversation?

        • “This is a form of false advertising that shouldn’t be supported.”

  • Does anyone know if this has volume normalisation (or some variant of it)?

With great pricing comes great sound quality
