Stop preordering games. Especially after the crap they pulled with the first division game.

To be fair the private beta is out now (and invites were sent out to non pre-orderers or easily available from friends) so you can get a pretty good idea of how The Division 2 plays.

Not sure you mean by the “crap they pulled with the first division game”. It had some launch day glitches but I think a lot of people including myself had a great time with it over hundreds of hours.

      • I thoroughly enjoyed it the first one too. Id still be playing it if I had time.

The first one was really good no idea wtf your on about

You're not wrong (gave you +1) but in this particular game's case they made plenty of improvements later down the line.

Unfortunately that took almost a whole year…

Pre-order games is very non-ozbargain, think about BF V lol

  • How much is it normally?

Warning. Gold edition will let you play 3 days earlier before release, but Amazon states the game will be released on the release date.

I completed full Private Beta Game. It is not good. Graphics worse,Map worse, actions worse. Only a few enhancement in movements. I am so disappointed. I played more than 1000 hours in Division 1 but this one is trash.

    • It's also in beta so the performance is bound to be unoptimised. I had a great time in the beta and think they've made some interesting design choices to enhance the experience from the original. I suppose it won't be everyone's favourite game, but I expect it to be a tonne of fun when it ships.

      • You graphics settings? If you play low you may not notice what I say.

        • I started on max settings and started getting low frames, around the 35-50 range. I then lowered the settings to medium and restarted the game. The performance was better but still chugged at times. It just needs some time for Ubisoft to fix it up. The Division 1 was fairly rock solid (besides going into fullscreen sometimes) so I think they'll be able to get the sequel running nicely.

@Sullie: I am on 2k resolution, Ultra preset. If volumetric fog is on. The map is filled with fog everywhere, the fog and the weird yellow color make the graphics very blury. And I experienced severe eye strain because of the bad graphics.

          • @Sullie: I may say the Division 1 on low settings is still great. But Division 2 on Ultra settings is real trash. I asked people’s view online and most people have the same feeling. In 199 comments only one person said he think Division 2 is better than Division1.LOL so I think this proves something.

            • @theabyss: not sure about PC but on XBOX division 2 looks much better. The only problem I have is that other than better graphics the game is pretty much the same. Still going to buy it though but only the regular version

i still think the gold edition is not worth it over the standard $69 price you can get from JB hifi, all you get is 7 days early access to all the DLC which will be free for everyone and you start with extra 50 spaces for loot but everyone can reach that perk point by unlocking it normally though playing , your basically paying extra $35 just to get stuff a little early it reminds of car games where you paid to unlock everything from the start.

    • Gold edition comes with all Year 1 DLC

Edit: never mind I didnt know the DLC was free
