This is not a bargain for Sony's. Last week they were $318.40 delivered. Allphones had it for $316 delivered. Can you match that? And ill order now.

  • If only you had this price during the eBay discount omg !!!!!

But regardless I received the set I got from your previous sale and happy with it !

    but it's free shipping bro

    1000XM3 is $358.02 Delivered Here using "PLACE10"

These aren't good prices, have to neg because they're both cheaper elsewhere.

Great headphones. Pretty decent price if you can't wait. Bought mine through these guys and had no issues.

The touch controls are a gimmick and I'd rather buttons and it's a PITA that you can't connect to multiple Bluetooth devices at once, other than that they are superb - unmatched sound and noise cancelling (have even taken phone calls while mowing the lawn) and as comfortable as QC 35 ii.

USB C quick charge is also great.

    • I think the touch controls are great and not a gimmick, but make it easier to use. You don't have to hunt for the buttons. Makes the headphones look neater as less buttons. IMO

I find it sometimes registers up-swipes as cross-swipes, and vice versa, and ends up changing tracks instead of turning the volume up, etc. Sometimes it doesn't register a quick tap at all.

Not a deal breaker, but at least with buttons you know that it's going to behave.

        • Might be the MX3s as they went from a smoother finish to make it less noisy in the cups when you swipe compared to the textured finish of Xm2s. You do need to get use to it, but found once you do no issue. Does the MX3s still have small increments for volume swipes?

        • +1

It really depends on the position on your ears. It normally sit at an angle, so you may think you swipe up you might actually more swipe forward according to the headphones absolute orientation.

        • Regarding Sony WH-1000XM3, how did you find the mic performing over the call? I many reviews, I found it being criticised as muffed and distorted, making it nearly impossible for attending calls.
This is the only drawback which is hold me back from Sony WH-1000XM3. Sound profile is very important for me, but attending multiple professional calls is also equally important for me.

Could you please share your experience in attending calls ( of course, the experience of the person on the other side :P )

          • +1

@EssendonUser: Haven't asked them, but there haven't been any complaints on call quality. Even on the beach in windy conditions they behaved well.

          • +1

@EssendonUser: I’ve had these for 3 months now and the sound quality while making a phone call is not great. Sound was muffed and I got this feedback from different callers at different times. When I resorted to taking the call directly on the phone, on the same call, they reported the voice was much clearer so I know it was not a GSM signal issue. XM3 and iPhone 7

        • How long have you had them? I had the same problem for the first few days, but found it got better with practice. Also, you can't double-tap too quickly.

Makes the headphones look neater as less buttons. IMO

Great for millennials who like to watch themselves in the mirror while listening.

    hardly a deal.

Please don't use ozbargain as an advertising medium, especially when this is not a deal whatsoever.

Bought mine last week. No deal!

My belief is if you are an associated user with [store name] and it was only recently that the same item went for lower, either match it or don't bother posting it. That's what the search function is for.

As brokeunikid mentioned, don't treat this as an advertising medium.

Worst deal. I bought mine for 327 at Amazon last week!

RIP when you guys had the same cans for 350 a few months back: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/411220

Not going to downvote though, as ATA is a good store and has brought some great deals to the community.

  • bought the sony wh1000xm3 from these guys in the ebay 20% off. Had never bought from them before but the headphones were well packed and made it to canberra on Monday arvo from a purchase friday 10am so pretty pleased. The headphones themselves are the best NC i've had - I work in an open plan office and even without any media playing in the headphones I can't hear people around me unless they are really loud (with NC on). The ambient sound mode is quite useful when walking to get coffee and crossing roads etc, and the feature to reduce volume and open ambient passthrough by placing a hand over the right ear cup is useful when people want to ask you a question. The case they come in is compact. I have ocncerns about build quality as the hinges appear to be plastic and that is how my last pair of sony's broke - i will be using cheap bluetooth in ear headphones for any physical activity and will only use the sonys in my office or home office. There is a companion app where you can tweak the noise cancelling, pressure adjustment, equaliser etc that i havn't delved into yet. One thing to note is that when you cut volume with the hand over the right side it doesnt pause playback via bluetooth which would be nice so you may miss some and have to rewind.
