Dear all,

We are looking for unlimited phone calls/texts phone only sim cards.

No data required.

About 1 phone call per day averaged 3 minutes each for 1 year.

Would prefer not pay as you go type.

Prefer prepaid.

A cheap prepaid phone/data sim type minus the data portion.

I have found a few cheap $10 data/phone sim prepaid plans but so far I have not found one phone sim (no data) that is less than $10 a month.

Yes, I have done plenty of research on this.

I hope somebody has found something like a $5 a month phone sim plan (no data required) .

    OP, how many minutes per day/week/month on average? This would help us recommend a service to you.

    $5 Aldimobile starter / year, then port to Amaysim $10/yr for the next year, then $5 with Aldimobile the year after, then $10/yr Amaysim, then Aldimobile again … rinse/repeat

        Just FYI these are prepaid, in that you prepay/load your account with $5/$10 and then you can use that until it runs out. They are not mobile plans that can keep on charging you through usage if that's what you're worried about.

    Buy any 365 prepaid such as vodaphone or Aldi, $30 - $40 should last the whole year by the sounds of it

    Purchase one of these sims - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/437448, get someone who is already with Belong to refer you (you'll both get $20 credit) - then sign up to the $10 plan. Will be 6 months unlimited calls for $13. You could buy 2 sims and apply credit to stretch it for longer, or refer someone etc, or just see what options you have at that point to port elsewhere

        The SIMs are discounted so it is effectively $13 in real money for 6 months (ie. $40 credit plus $20 referral credit). Equates to just over $2 per month

        Another thing to note is that these are postpaid not prepaid, and you said you wanted prepaid in your posts above.

          Well it's $60 credit sitting in your account - every month they deduct $10. But it costs $13 (plus a referral) to get the $60 credit. Total cost - $13.I signed up in December - bought a $15 starter pack and got a referral from a friend. I have not paid anything since.
