    These guys were really good until they removed a few countries I wanted to call internationally. Contacted them about it, they said some customers abused their TOS. While I understand somewhat, I dont see why they couldnt just cut their service instead of getting rid of those countries altogether. Not everyone was abusing it.

        Who knows that is the reasoning they gave me which doesnt make sense. They have unlimited calls to those international countries. They probably didnt count on the fact that someone will call excessively. They chalked that as terms of service violation, supposedly anything outside of a normal expected use by a reasonable person. Still doesnt make sense though, simply block those guys..

          They could be used for SIM boxing where they are effectively used for free carriage by unscrupulous calling card or other service providers. If they get detected and banned they just activate a new SIM and back in business.

      Yes, but he/she will get only 1GB per month doing so (he/she will probably get a bonus 1GB initially). 15GB is only if he/she opted for $40/month plan - even if it just for the first month.

    Could I use this $40 as recharge for the current $10 plan? So efficiently it would be $3.25/month. Also if there is not enough data, could I use this to recharge to get extra 30G data?

      Yes. The stated credit can be used on either of the 3 plans. Also with the $20 referral credit you potentially get 6 months of unlimited talk and text for $13.

        From previous deals, best to start with the $40 plan to get 30gb and then downgrade to $10 plan.
        You either get 6months (6x$10) with 6gb or 3months with 32gb ($40+2x$10)

          Yes this is what I plan to do. I bought one of the catch connect $10 sims and plan to use that for the 3 months then cycle back to belong. With the data roll-over it's a great way to have stored data for when you need it.

          For some people that don't use data (older folks) getting them set up 6 months of unlimited phone access for 13 bucks is a steal.

              @Bargainer: I see where the confusion is here. Starter plans can never be used to top up an existing service.
              Best you can do is activate a new number, referring yourself, so you get $20 on your existing service and 30gb on the new number which you can gift to your existing service.

                  @NiteMice: You get $20 referral credit for $13, which goes towards your monthly bill. Plus 30gb data.. for when you one day do need it. I.e you may lose internet at your house for a week, 6 months from now.

      Correct, you could open a second account though and gift the data to your first account whilst also getting additional $20 credit for signing up the second account (use your referral code).
