Has strong pre-season form in Munich under his belt, will be red hot come Round 1
Poor kid misunderstood 'white line fever'. Could happen to any West Coast Eagle.

It's a Chinese New Year promotion, which i picked up in Chinatown yesterday
If you have to give away free tickets to a Round 1 game at the G when you just made finals for the first time in years….
Around 35-40k each week. Melbourne can't get a crowd if Collingwood isn't playing???

Dees 2018 H&A average: 37249
Port 2018 H&A average: 33669- -5 votes
@seaofspiders: Did you read where I said Collingwood? Oh no you didn't…..
You can't pull a crowd against an interstate team. You have to give away free tickets… Concerning.
Take that 83k away and you are left with a very very embarrassing figure.
Not my fault, you can't read.

@scuderiarmani: Last 3 MCG games for Melbourne against interstate teams:
vs. GC (crowd: 23,072)
vs. Sydney (crowd: 51,424)
vs. GWS (crowd: 37,285)That's an average crowd of 37,260

@Danstar: That's a better figure… even if it was leading into the first finals appearance in well memory. Though I dare say Sydney still has many Victorian fans attending.

@scuderiarmani: Melbourne vs. Freo - Round 4 2017
(crowd: 27,829)- +1 vote
@Danstar: That's the more typical crowd, and follows most of the Victorian teams when playing someone intestate.

@Danstar: It's easy to bump an average when you have supporters from the same state attending, that's my main point in this. Especially a marquee Public Holiday that was on the verge of being taken away recently anyway.
I give more merit to a Victorian team that can break 40k against a non Victorian team considering 3-4 of the Non Victorian teams are doing it most weeks.
@Danstar: What's that :)
Seriously though, NSW and QLD are extremely average for sports attendances in general…. considering the population and all.
@seaofspiders: You're not even comparing home attendances, let alone home attendance vs interstate team (which is the best indication of how many of your own fans turn up).

@seaofspiders: LOL - but unlike Port and other non-Vic interstate teams, most of their home games are against interstate teams and they play half the games interstate
That Dees crowd average is woeful considering they play most of their games in Melbourne and against other Melbourne based teams.
Time to offer free cheeseboards for members at all Melbourne home games to get those crowd numbers up!
@irate: They actually play interstate teams at TIO stadium in N.T.
Thus, lowering their average crowd since TIO only hold approx. 12,500 people
@Danstar: The decision to play in NT is one made by the Melbourne Football Club and for financial reasons.
And for 5 years their partner in those games has been Adelaide teams - Port Adelaide for 3 years in Alice Springs and Adelaide for 3 years in Darwin.
Thus lowering their average crowd. Cuts both ways doesn't it.
@irate: What are we actually trying to make our points about?
I don’t even go for Melbourne lol
And people were going on about the AFLW in a recent post. Seems like there are bigger issues closer to home.

Still will get a minimum 25,000 at the game, where majority will have paid to attend
Hope so. After all, AFLW is only in its third season. The men's comp. has been established for well over a hundred years.
Why did I receive an email saying I locked in one FREE ticket? I thought it should be two.
为什么我只收到一封邮件说我锁定一张免费票?我以为有两张。

Google translate everywhere. Also a bargain during lunar new year (remember it's not CNY)

Email doesn't include a ticket/attachment, but it is from "engage@melbournefc.com.au" so that's a good sign.
I registered for a few using different emails. Will await closer to the season if we see some PDF ticket action ;)
One ticket received confirmation shorty after filling form out . I assumed ticket will be for a double pass :)
Port supporter living in Melbourne…registered, hopefully I at least get one free ticket!
You're assuming he's going to play.
