      Not the same interface. mSATA is a little different. Rare even.

  • It’s rare for a reason. Sometimes it’s better to adopt new technology.

      Often it's completely reasonable to extend the life of a decent laptop by expanding its storage capacity through its mSATA port, rather than to adopt new technology and buy a whole new laptop to gain compatibility for new storage interfaces and protocols.

      • That's what I'm doing, going to get one of these then chuck my current ssd into my other laptop.
