  Hmm, never changed headlights before. We have a RAV4 - any idea how hard this is to fit?

    Make sure your headlights are H7 and not H4 or other size.

    Takes about 5 mins. Easier on suvs with lots of engine room. You pull out the dust cap, unlatch the metal retention clip, pull out bulb then replace. Check beam height and adjust via screws if needed.

    Don't replace with the exact same type. (Same size though, ie: H7).
    The difference between aftermarket and factory light output at night is ridiculous and amazing. Price isn't usually that different either.

    ps: wear some gloves when changing bulbs, the oil from your fingers is not good for the bulb when it heats up

      Decent warranty too if you don't mind your car to be without a working headlight bulb for a week at a time.

      My experience with their warranty is 1 replacement set per brand new set bought. Say I bought a set now, claim the warranty in 6 months time then the replacement set is blown at the 11th month after the original set was bought, too bad so sad get yourself another set.

  I found that the performance bulbs only lasted 3-6mts in my car. (i drive with the lights on at all times as I don't have driving lights, and temperature seems to affect them …. anecdotal evidence)
  However, the long life ones seem to last forever, although 20-30% less brighter than the performance ones.
