230

Got an email, saying that everytime you pick up any parcel from an Australia Post Parcel Locker (located at selected Woolworths branches) you can get 200 points. (No limit?)

Scan your Woolworths Rewards Card when collecting your parcels to get points. Points will be given 6-8 weeks after 15 March 2019.

The offer is not available in Tasmania.

This explains why I saw the scan your Woolworths Rewards screen at a Parcel Locker (nowhere near Woolworths though) a few months ago when I collected my parcel from a 7-11 …

  • Not worth it considering I need to pay delivery fee but still need to pickup

    1. Pickup for Free at WWS store
    2. Pay Delivery fee and send straight to door
    3. Pay Delivery fee and Pickup with 200 points

You can get other non-Woolies parcels delivered; this offer is just for Parcel Lockers that are located inside Woolies e.g. at Woolies Haymarket (NSW)

It's worth it if you use parcel lockers anyway. I get all my valuable and non-heavy deliveries to parcel lockers so they're not stolen (less concerned if someone steals a $4 phone cover or tries to pick up a 20kg box of cat food).

I usually choose to click and click or have it delivered to a parcel locker whenever possible. I find that in majority of cases, addressing the parcel to my home address results in a missed delivery note — eventhough somebody is at home (it seems some delivery guy don't bother giving our unit a buzz).

  • Does ww charge to deliver to these selected parcel lockers?

    • It's for parcels that are delivered to Australia Post Parcel Lockers located inside Woolworths. So in other words, no. (Do they even deliver via AusPost?)

      • Thanks. I couldn’t necessarily make the assumption. But I much prefer to pick up from one of these locations using the locker because click and collect usually takes 20 minutes for the member to go to back of store and find the stuff. And why I don’t do click and collect anymore

        • Woollies Click and Collect has nothing to do with these lockers. These are for parcels sent via Australia Post. The only association with Woolworths is that selected Woolworths now have Parcel Lockers. In other words, no you won't be using these to collect your groceries that you ordered via Click and Collect from Woolies.

How does this work if you have perishable goods like meat, fish, etc

Read my comment above. I can't be bothered explaining it again :/

  • This is great. I had ordered a few $1-$5 cheap items from China via Ebay last month.
I was asked to scan the card for each parcel when opening the locker in front of Woolworths.

If I get 200 points each for each parcel, then its essentially 20% to 100% discount on my items :)

Can anyone confirm its not limited? If not limited, then effectively anything we from ebay/amazon etc before 15th March is $1 less!
