Such a terrible game compared to 2k19
Not sure about the gameplay, but from the previous deal comments. People seem to prefer this one and pretty much tired of the microtransaction on 2k. Plus, you can't really go wrong with a $5.99 game, do you?
Graphics are good in live but the gameplay just sux, and the association mode is nowhere near 2k. The 3 on 3 mode is quite good though
I disagree, as a 2k fan for 6+ years and getting every edition, I decided to try NBA live as well, can say it's caught up, or to be more accurate, 2k has taken a massssiveeee step back. 2k got sloppy last few years given their dominance, they need to be careful.

Nope, it's pretty well the opposite now.
The 2K series has been basically turned into a casino slot machine style micro-transaction booster mobile phone game by the dev's, making basically no improvement in over 3 years & persistently shaving the good parts of the game off completely, or locking even the most basic of content behind additional pay walls. The game has taken a stunning nose-dive from what the 2015 version was, that's for sure.
People will say 2K is better, and it is, but for $6… I mean, that's a good value.
Can you install this on pc? Or it is XBox only?

Supposedly EA Sports is working on a PC version sometime soon, but they said that a year ago. Basically, I wouldn't buy this game on PC anyway. I own 2K on PC and no one plays in the Pick Up Games or Online or anything. So you basically just play the career mode on your own, which is kind of sad. I've learned from 2K19 to basically buy it on Xbox or PS4 if you want the full experience. PC is dead and I guess thats because on PC there's lots of great games to enjoy, CS:GO, TF2, PUBG, CoD, Apex Legends, Fortnite, LoL, DoTA 2 etc etc. I mean consoles have games too like CoD and Fortnite and PUBG. But PUBG is kind of dead on consoles and Fortnite has kind of taken the CoD playerbase. So there's less competition on console. Whereas people still religiously play League of Legends or DoTA 2.
I will say this too though 2K19 is way, way more popular than NBA Live 19. So I really wouldn't expect anyone to play this game online anyway on Xbox. Just wait till 2K20 comes out and buy it on Xbox, it will have so many players in the first month of release.

I particularly liked this part.
Live 19 also brings back the WNBA players that were introduced in last year’s game and adds the inclusive ability to create a female basketball avatar just like you can with the men.
It's pretty cool that they have gone to such lengths to be inclusive. I imagine that female players (of both real basketball, and the video games) would appreciate being able to play as top female players of WNBA.
They can dunk too.
It's a refreshing change from the aging 2k mechanics. Looks great in 4k on Xbox One X too!

I tried to trade in Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma @ EBGames for this game - they said no.
You can't buy the all star content by itself, so guess if you already own nba live you can just buy this new version to get the all star content.
Probably why it's so cheap.
I picked it up when it was 12 bucks, it's pretty good for the casual nba fan. For 6 bucks it's a no brainer imo.
