      Looking at the Amazon pictures I believe it's the circumference of the knee, but I'm not sure if you're suppose to measure the knee or 4 inches above the knee. The picture doesn't make it that clear.
      Does anyone who's bought a pair know? I feel like you would measure your knee.

        These are bigger on the thigh and smaller on calf, you should measure accordingly I reckon.

      Went to the AMAZON US page for this product.

      circumference is measured around the leg, 10cm above the knee.

    I have prime and i added a couple of things for free delivery. Because only one of them was international, but still Prime, they wanted to charge $8.95 postage. I gave it the flick. Prime should be Prime.

    How do we measure the knee for the 'best fit' (knee strap)? Can these be washed (hand washed) if they get dirty (cold or warm water)? And how does this brand compare to other brands (I've bought several and they were a waste of money)? I'll like to buy a couple for my aunt, she has really bad knees and has tried everything besides surgery.

      Have a look at the fourth picture on the product page and that will show you where to measure. Yes, they are washable. I would recommend hand-washing them in lukewarm water.

      I can't compare them to other brands but if you look at the 2500+ reviews on Amazon US you will see that they are very highly rated.

      For your Aunt, I would recommend buying a size smaller than she thinks she will need, that will place a nice amount of even pressure and help relieve pain.

      I have nerve damage to my lower leg and the pressure the Compression Sleeve places around the top of my calf significantly helps to reduce pain.

      For $9.99, it's worth the risk.
