  • Thanks, picked one up for a friend.

  • Thanks

  • They are General Admission tickets. Does that mean first in, best dressed for seating selection?

    • Yes but there will be plenty of seats available on the day.

        Plenty is an understatement.

        • 25k there last Sunday.

          • +4

@Randolph Duke: That was for Melbourne Victory, the 'proper' Melbourne team.

            • @rith: Good point - I forgot there was another team in Melbourne. Well, until United join next season.

      • Perfect. Just happen to be in Melbourne the same weekend with hotel booked not far from stadium.

  • No Victory?

  • Thanks - should be fun :)

  • Thanks for the heads up! Have bought two passes to take my family and a friends family who don't have a lot of cash. We are Victory but I am yet to take my 4yo son to a soccer game, so no loss if he loses interest and we have to leave early!

  • Wow are tickets normal price are really $7

    • That's for a kid - and fair enough really.
      Adult is $28 or $19 for conc/stu

  • Thanks 😁

    In all honesty,
It would be great to go just to watch Castro weave his magic for Perth.
He's an unbelievable player - When I've watched Perth live, I've pretty much just watched him the whole game.
    Great skill and entertainment.

  • Thanks OP, not a big fan of sports but got some tickets for my parents!

  • +3

Picked up a couple, might go with a mate. The only time I've been to see a soccer match live was the second leg of the Australia v Uruguay final qualifier for the 2006 World Cup, so it's been a while! Expecting it will be about the same level of excitement yeah?

    • About the same but without the penalty shootout.

    • +1

Best sporting experience of my life!

      • +1

As a spectator or flat out best?

        • +2

As a spectator - but i follow Melbourne in the AFL, so not exactly a heap of happy memories there

      • +2

I'm a huge AFL fan more than anything but I gotta say that whole experience was pretty fricking incredible. Did you join the impromptu street march through the centre of Sydney afterwards? Once people could actually get on the train back to town of course lol

    • Unfortunately 13 years later the Socceroos have not lived up to expectations. In fact they have gone backwards if anything.

Lucky to qualify for the last World Cup and look at the recent Asian Cup.

      • +2

They have but as Mark Bresciano tells us, there'll be another golden generation.

  • Obtained. Thanks OP.

Looking forward to seeing fellow ozB's trying to find the cheapest food options :-)

  • none of the printed tickets say "adult" nor "junior" .

    • +1

Just above the price on the RHS.

      • +1

Aye. in micro font. It would also flash up on the turnstile as well.

        • Yep, turnstile usually goes green for adult, orange for concession and red for children.

  • +2

You can actually get 2 in each order… I just did.

  • This is great! We went to Victory v Perth last weekend (paid for the tix) and had a lot of fun - Perth won 2-1 and there was lots of excitement. Definitely keen for another match - thanks!

  • Thanks OP got 2 worked as described

  • Ah, if only there could be a similar deal for the Glory game this weekend. Trying to get a ticket for a friend and Telstra Thanks isn't showing any tickets for this weekend's game :(.

  • +1

    Says none available now.

    • More available again.

  • +1

    all gone :(

    • More available again.

  • Damn, missed out and actually wanted to go.
Hopefully people that claim these actually use them.

  • Yup, appears to be sold out :-(

  • missed out as well :(

  • Just don't expect the atmosphere to be the same as other A League matches. No more active support/cheer squad with Melb City as they have abandoned their team.
Just go there for the football (to watch Perth), I guess.

    • +1

At least the Perth fans were up and about against Victory when I saw them last week.

    • +1

City Terrace started 2 weeks ago

Hope all you people actually come, we need all the supporters we can get

    • I am a Victory supporter but I agree 100%. We want to be a two team town and can only do that if people support and get along!

      • +3

It's going to be a 3 team town next season.

        • No, it’ll become a 2 team town next season.

  • I got 2 but may be away on that date. I'll advertise them as free in the classifieds.

    • Hi, it's s my son's bday and I'd love to take him on this day if any one has tickets they can't use. Thx

  • I don't suppose anyone might have grabbed these on a whim or found out there were no takers amongst friends and family, as I would love to get my hands on a ticket or two to this game if spare? I am a Glory foundation member from '96 living in Melbourne and went to watch them play Victory on the weekend, so I would genuinely appreciate it. I didn't mind the cost so much because it was worth it but I was a little surprised it set me back at least $100 all told, even after having to take cheaper parking a few kilometres away because of UFC and the cricket. Hell, why am I trying to justify being cheap? - this is Ozbargain after all!

    • They are available again mate, I just picked up a family pass, you should be able to get one too as I was able to add more tickets to my cart but didnt process them as I dont need them.

  • +1

If I can't make it I'll put my tickets in classifieds

  • I just tried again and was able to get 1 family pass so they have added more tickets!!!

  • I have a family pass that I can giveaway. Contact me if you want. But I think the tickets on website are still free using the code though.

  • Why hasn't this been marked as expired?
