    ple tick

    id cooling tick

    warranty 2 years query…

no support from id cooling when new sockets arrive normally - no new mounts - big x

    but good price

    to be considered conclusion

reckon the 280 is better for an extra 10 bucks but pump warranty aint great.
in my opinion wter AIO coolers in order are nzxt 1 and corsair 2 and then there's the others. evga aint great cuz of irritations that should have been solved, thermal has manufacturing issues and then there's id which can be great for 2-3 years but pump longevity is a query…
no fan of coolerm at all

  • I am always thinking, when the pump failed, what happen to the cpu? Start burning until automatically shut down the system?

    • Friend yes, most modern cpus has a fail safe that tuens them off in the range of 80-104 depending on the model

    • I have a swiftech failed on me once and it shut down the computer when it hit the threshold.
When i took it out, the cpu looks fine but the cooper on the cpu block turn dark/burnt.
Can't imaging how hot did the cpu went up to be able to burn the block.

    review for black edn

i would use cooler master instead

    • Oh dear.

So here we are, with another AIO from ID Cooling, which we already have no hope for, long before we even get started.

An AIO with some of the worst mounting hardware available.

Not only can you find better coolers at this price range, but you can even do better with a single tower air cooler. Unless you are just in love with the design and have an ASUS Aura Sync motherboard, we would suggest you pass.

      • Ouch. Yeah I have no idea if this AIO is actually any good. Just saw 50ish percent off so thought I'd share. I guess if you are just looking for some eye candy and not doing any serious overclocking it's still a good buy.

      • the evga mount isn't much better in fact, and we we is bit off…
id are not anywhere that bad and bang for the buck in au the 280 if u need it now and aren't 2 bothered bout pump life and new cpu mounts in the future is pretty good value assuming its cpu mount works ok. PLE will support you as well unless that's changed of late..

Buy a good air cooler instead.

  • Shame. Looks gorgeous

  • Would this cool better then Corsair H80i v2?

    • 5 year warranty v 2 years?
