    Gaming desktop without graphic card?

    • It may run Tibia.

The Ryzen APUs are quite capable.

Critically important is that this works best with high clock RAM. In dual channel mode. 3000MHz+ is ideal but these budget system tends to go with 2400MHz.

Best thing to do is undervolt the CPU a bit to free up some thermal headroom for the GPU. CPU can overclock to 3.9GHz but not really necessary since modern games are usually limited by GPU. The GPU in the 2200G APU can generally overclock up to 1600MHz when paired with a good motherboard.

          Motherboard: MSI A320M PRO-VH PLUS

not overclockable mb, integrated gpu overclock able or not with this mb, not sure.

you could assign max 2gb ram to gpu, 2gb ddr4@2400mhz comparing with GDDR5

6gb left for windows 10, how many chrome tabs could you open without system hiccups

We're you intending this to be intentionally deceptive to customers unfamiliar with PCs?
Claiming this to specifically be a gaming desktop when it will not be able to play any modern games.

    • We were not intending it to be deceptive to anybody.

We have changed the listing to be less deceptive.

The Ryzen 3 2200G's built in APU does play most games at a decent frame rate between 30-60fps depending on the quality and the game.
Pairing it with Dual-Channel Memory can improve the Performance as well.

      Thanks

vega 8= gtx 1030, gaming at 720p ok, retro emulator game ok

Wouldn't call it a gaming pc, IMO 1080p medium to high preset 60fps is minimal for entry level nowadays

$439 without a windows 10 key, I would rather buy an used PS4 pro

I've spoken to management and they're happy to organize a deal for this system with a Windows Key if you're interested.

Send me a PM on OZB
        I'll get onto it ASAP.

        Thanks

I use 2400g vega 11, 16gb 3000mhz corsair lpx, ab350n ITX mb for my office work.

Thanks for the offer, dont think I would ever take it

      • How is a PS4 pro a relevant comparison? You were never gonna buy it anyway.

        • +2

gaming pc in the title, ps4 pro for gaming, i suppose

          • +1

@Faraam Knight: Irrespective that they've changed it now, lemme know how the ps4 handles everything else a pc can do…

    • You might want to take it up with AMD, not the messenger. But I see your point.
The 2400G is quite a bit more capable and a worthwhile upgrade, but every dollar takes you closer to a GTX1050.
Its well suited to someone who wants the cheapest machine possible with the idea of wanting to get into gaming in the way an Intel igpu can't…

    • +1

That's just straight up not true. The Ryzen APU will play most games. It won't play them super well but you'll get 30fps at 720p on just about anything.

      Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

  • Is this build any good for office work and internet browsing (YouTube)? New to desktops. TA

    • Assuming you want everything brand new

      for office/daily use, yes

but you dont need 2200g 4 cores 4 threads, 200ge 2cores 4 threads would be just fine

      2200g aud 150, 200ge aud 85

a320 mb dont support overclock, 200ge will limit ram speed to 2667mhz

      that is about it

    • This system is definitely ideal for Office work and Internet browsing and is our recommendation.

If you have any questions please pm me or send us a message on our website,
More than happy to help wherever we can

This is in Adelaide as are the Techfast deals. Is Adelaide becoming the Tech capital of Australia? 🙂

    • hmmm… Potentially.

Haven't thought about it like that to be honest.

  • +1

Dont understand why everyone is bashing this deal, techfast is selling the same configuration for $520+ On eBay

    • I think Techfast comes with a gfx card. This one doesn't.

      • +1

Techfast one comes with integrated graphics.

        • Don't think they sell one without a gpu? Bar auctions

  • what's the difference with APU vs Integrated graphics?

    • There is no Difference.

APU stands for Accelerated Processing Unit which means it includes both a CPU and GPU on the same chip.
It’s just another way to say Integrated Graphics

  • is it possible to get this with a b350 motherboard?

    • Yes of course it is.
Please PM me for more information.

      Thanks
