    The Home Energy Efficiency Retrofits (HEER) allows accredited companies to calculate energy savings from a range of common household and small business energy efficiency upgrades.

    Ezy Quotes is predominantly focused on helping Sydney-based small businesses (mainly retail and office spaces) with replacing their old, inefficient fluorescent tube lights (600mm 18W or 1200mm 36W) with suitable LED panel lighting. In most cases, this will result in a $33 upgrade - not $33 per light, just $33 for the entire upgrade!

    Outside of fluorescent tube replacements, the HEER provides a range of low cost and higher cost activities that can be conducted at the property.

    As per HEER requirements, a site assessment of a home or small business must be carried out prior to any upgrade taking place.

  Meh fluresent tubes are actually fairly effecient besides the starting voltage needed to get the lamp going.
  Lumen per watt is similiar to most LEDs used in households. 40w should get around 3500-4000 lumens.
  Power factor might be better with the LEDs and no start up time.

  Main advantages isn't power savings its things like CRI you can get from the LED.

    main advantage is no replacement is required. No flashing tube for days and wait for the maintenance guy to replace it.

  Not completely true depends on what LEDs are used it could still be an issue if they use cheap parts.
  Flashing lights will be a bad ballast and LED will often flicker when to hot also.

      Doesn't mean much when retrofitting LEDs into older fixtures. The standards are very broad.

        For your benefit, the entire fitting (tube + ballast etc.) is decommissioned and replaced with a suitable all-in-one LED panel product (integrated driver etc.).
