  • Can i use this credit to network unlock the phone? They normally charge $80 for network unlock if I choose to unlock before 6 month?

    • Dont think so, U can't use the credit to reharge, only to activate the card and it will self load.

  • $15 is good but not good enough when compared to the good ol Kogan

  • It is this price in my local store already since last Wednesday. It could be store specific though.

Can you use this to reduce their $120 prepaid deal to $85? Just over $7 a month for 5GB would be a hell of a deal.

I calculate it would only be $4.50 a month. I'm going to try it :)

      • Can you let me know if it works please. and where would I find the $120 one.

        • +1

Yep, will find some of these sims during the sale and will report back with how I go.

        • I bought the sim cards. I'll report back here in a day or so.

      • I'm not following your maths here. How is it. $4.50?

        • So the current saving is 70% ($15 purchase/$50 value).

If you purchase the $180 plan at 70% off, the total is $54 ($180*0.3) or $4.50 per month ($54/12).

Obviously, you'll still have $20 in remaining credit because you'll need to buy 4 x $50 sim cards. I didn't include that in my maths.

          • @wakie: Well, good luck, but I'd be amazed if that works. I don't think the starter sims are stackable. If you use the $50 value to reduce the $120 cost down to $70, then add the $15 you paid for it = $85 total, or $7.08 cents a month. Be happy with that. I'm currently paying $8.20 /month with Lebara for 6GB, 10 countries, and unlimited. And I am freaking delighted with it.
