Bought some the other day (at Coles similar price)… beware pretty sweet.

    • +6

Surely you go into a Reeces purchase expecting sweetness

      • +1

True - but it's next level sweet :P

    • +1

agree, not as good as i expected, too sweet for me!

  • Quite sweet, but it does taste exactly like you'd expect - if you like Peanut Butter cups, you'll like this.

    • +3

      duh…….

  • +2

Tried this on the weekend, it's life changing.

    • +6

Yes, it will change your blood sugar level tru the roof.

      • Yes, that's usually the result of ingesting most desserts.

  • Not a big fan of Peanut Butter but heard good stuff from others on this ice cream

    • +2

Yep Coles have knocked it out of the park with their peanut butter ice cream, have not tried this one but i really like the one they do with cookie dough

    • +1

It's OK but $6 is too much for a Coles branded ice cream.

      • Agreed

    • +1

Tried both and I enjoyed the Coles Peanut Butter Cup ice cream far more than the Reeces. For $4, the Reeces isn't bad, but I'd rather the Coles for my tastes. Was actually somewhat disappointed with the Reeces ice cream tub. Will give the Reeces cones a shot to see if they're an improvement over the tub.

Blessed be…. What can Americans not do with sugar and dextrose…. And just in time for end/start of uni semester :)

  • Looks dangerous lol

  • Can confirm. Is delicious. Nice and salty and sweet.

  • +3

Their cones are so much better in my opinion. Even split between the chocolate and peanut butter ice-cream that goes straight to the bottom. There is even a nice chunk of peanut butter going through the centre.

    • +1

      I agree!

      • +2

+1 vote for the cones. The peanut butter core was unexpected and superb in it's indulgency-ness. I ate a four pack in two nights. Must not re-buy any time soon.

After trying this I'm going to work out a way to best freeze straight peanut butter. Because it was the frozen peanut butter that was the highlight.

        • After trying this I'm going to work out.

This is where I stopped reading.

  • Very nice but as others have mentioned - sweeeeet

  • I'm in SA for work at the moment and noticed these were still $8, along with all the others from that same line. Not sure if that means the bargain is not national, for online orders only, or that the staff at this particular Woolies simply missed the deal & didn't ticket it as such.

  • I thought the price should have gone up to be $4.10 instead of $4?

    Disgusting

  • Ben & Jerry's was on special at Coles last week - we bought a few varieties of those plus this Reese's stuff - the B&J was a lot better.

Note: Ben & Jerry's is made in the US, this Reese's is licensed locally and made here.

  • Tried it, worth it for $4! If you enjoy bits in your icecream you'll like it.

    Processed Eucheuma Seaweed, Carrageenan

    Yummy yummy, in my tummy!

I thought I read “coitus” lol

WA people would be much better off getting 2 (US) pints of Harry's for $3 at spud shed.

  • Only just found this ice cream. My favourite so far

  • +1

As much as I love Reeses I tried some Hersheys Cookies and Cream and man.. I can never go back.

Wish they made an Ice Cream of that.

The Harry's Gourmet Ice Cream range though is very good my favourite atm.

Harry's Gourmet Ice Cream 520ml Tub (Reusable Screw-Top Canister) $3 @ Woolworths (expired now $6 a tub or $1.15 / 100ML which is more than double the Woolworths Home Brand one which is also not bad at $0.47 / 100ML)

  • Thought I saw IGA have these cones on special too! Fantastic, very sweet but not too sweet.

    It's a premium ice-cream come with a POD. 8/10 must try once.

  • I can't believe it's not (peanut) butter

  • Bought some after seeing this post. I agree with the poster above - it’s a bit too sweet.

I note that Coles have a premium peanut butter ice cream which I’ll have to try - but does anyone know what happened to the original peanut butter one in the blue tub? It was awesome.
