Is this the size of their cheeseburger / tendercrisp or smaller?

    • yes. They all use 4 inch buns.

      • +19

I like big buns and I cannot lie.

      • 100mm?

        • 101.6mm to be exact

  • Expires 12 March 2018 for me. Thanks!

    • +6

Shame that you can't use it

  • good price for what it is!

    Better than Macs.

That's like saying the dump I took today smells better than the dump I took yesterday.

      • +2

Wow, you must be fun at the parties…………

      • +5

You know what? The dump I took yesterday was actually terrible, it splattered, it stank and was horrible. Today it was actually super satisfying, been dieting so usually things are a bit messy but today was a big, smooth awesome release. Felt really good, was a great uplift to my morning.

A good dump is satisfying. So it hungry jacks.

edit: I just noticed this is the 5th thread in the past 3 weeks you've posted on concerning fast food not being healthy. RUOK?

        • +2

Weigh yourself before and after next time, dropping turd weight is still classed as gains.

        • +1

That should be hj's new slogan "a good dump is satisfying, apnd so are our burger" "the burgers are better at hungry jacks"

      • I found truth and humor in your comment

  • +1

HJ's quality in Adelaide has been utter shite between bread lately.

    • +3

Head to Carl’s Jnr. It’s pretty much the same as hungry jacks except much fresher and isn’t microwaved or sloppy or disgusting.

    • +1

Their store on Hindley St is pretty poor they need to sort it out.

Doesn't help with all the riff raff around there.

      • Brighton, west richmond, Hindly street & darlington have all been recent visits of mine.

Rather go scoop shit of the sidewalk than visit a 5th hj's

  • +2

App has not worked for months on my phone. Every time I shake or use coupon it says "something went wrong". Using android 7.1

    • If you're using a VPN, try setting the location to Australia or turning it off.

      • No VPN being used. Have done everything eg. cleared app data and cache, uninstalled and re-installed.

    • +1

Doesn't work on my $50 5.1, works on 8 with no issues, even though the store say's 4.4 upwards.

You are not really missing much with the App apart from Shake & Win freebies.

Better off loading your phone up with a PDF of the vouchers, Home Screen Shortcut a must and just live your life.

Even if you place an online order, you can't add the Shake & Win to the order 🤷‍♂️

As for the offer, appears when loading the App $3.90 and shows you where to find it on the App

    • +3

Make sure your time is set to network time also (not slow or fast), or contact support.

      • +1

Thank you! I have legit not been able to use shake an win for close to a year since the update. I had my time set manually due to being on the nsw/qld border (autotime change with the time zones is annoying) and being retarded with never being on time so having it fast.

        • All good, I figured out this was my problem why I couldn't access the app either!
I got sick of it kicking me out so contacted support - they advised me of this. They said to make it a permanent adjustment but I opened the app under "network time" once than changed back and it's been fine ever since :)

          Glad I could help!

          • +2

@pennypincher98: Thanks pennypincher, that fixed it. Never would have guessed it. You are a lifesaver!

    • Maybe you are shaking it wrong..?

      • +1

Don't even need to shake it. Tap the circle.

    2 Steamed Hams?

    • +12

      Yes, an incredible luncheon!

  • +1

    Didn't work for me

  • Nothing for me either

  • Didn't work for me. App deleted.

  • When I try to order via the app, it says voucher will be applied at checkout but the amount due doesn't drop

    • It does before payment

      • It didn't the one time I used it. Complaint was never answered either

        • They might be having issues currently, I get a banner "Shake & Win and Digital Vouchers are currently unavailable"

My last voucher order for the Grilled Chicken B & C worked fine on checkout. $11.20 to $6.95, worth it, not really.

I still prefer the PDF vouchers, if S&W gives me something, 2 seconds to flip screen, they scan it and pay.

I.e. Went for breakfast got a S&W free medium coffee, had 2 burgers and a coffee instead of the breakfast deal.

They do answer on Social media (Twitter) hit them up.

      • I go as far as confirm order and it hasn’t dropped. This seems like the payment screen so I’m not willing to go any further

This is the same on my iPhone and work Android

How much cost to add cheese to the whopper deal?

      • Someone has had a bad day.

        • -2

          Really?

How much effort does it take to open the App select a whopper add cheese to see how much it costs?

Wait, it's easier to just ask on the Interwebby thingy

          Millennials

          • @Tom2222: OK gramps.

            • @Diji1: Gramps got the grumps.

@Tom2222 maybe they didn’t know they could customise via the app?

          • @Tom2222: Probably not as much effort as writing two comments to complain about someone asking…

Pack of 24 slices costs $3.70 at the supermarket. That's about 15.5cents per slice. My wife smuggles a couple in her purse, they're room temperature by the time we get to HJ's and get our order, just slap 'em on and voila!

      • +1

        Another one…

        • Another what?

          • @Ozai: Cheaper to make it at home, go to the supermarket to add stuff.

Do it if you want to, but why does it matter to the Fast Food Section of OzB?

I'm sure I can fire up the BBQ and make a stack of burgers better with extras and cheaper, but that is not why we are here.

            • @Tom2222: I don't have a BBQ at home. :(

              • +1

                @Ozai: No local parks?

I've got 5 free BBQ's in the parks locally, easy walking distance, plus local council rules you can drink until 9pm.

Some council dude comes around every morning to clean them, so they are always clean.

                Love the City Of Yarra

      • Curious what brand cheese you use?
I find kraft cheese taste different to hj cheese.. good idea though

        • Go cheap. I get whatever's cheapest, at Woolworths it's Hillview brand I think. Not exactly the same, but for us it's just as good as whatever they put on.

  • +3

Not a great deal considering you can get 2 whoppers juniors and 2 small chips for $5.65.

    • +1

$1.75 for a handful of chips isn't that great either.

      • +1

Depends on how big your hand is…

    • -7

$5.65 to contribute to the obesity crisis. Yours is not a great deal at all.

      • +1

Get out of this fast food thread then.

      • +1

Fun fact, some people have self control and eat things in moderation.

  • Are these vouchers single use?

"One per customer, per transaction only"

    • +2

Yeah the App vouchers are single use, unlike the PDF vouchers.

You could try with multiple accounts as there is a logout option in your profile.

Remember you can do the + . stuff with gmail.

  • Targeted!

  • I don't like the APP vouchers; only a couple of voucher choices each time ; and Vegan burgers / muffin on top of that.
Had 2x Whopper cheese for $8.25 ; once scanned / used, it vanishes.

  • +1

We need a user named BurgerNerd.

I think this is basically a McDonalds cheeseburger with empty veges and vitamins, which I like. But the McDouble has more protein for a similar price and you only have to buy one, which I also like.

  • Frugal Feeds coupon deal for those who wants 2 small chips for $0.87 cents each ($5.65 for 2 whopper jnr and 2 small chips)

    link

unlimited uses.. mention when ordering any coupons..

    • +1

Frugal Feeds mirrors this site, nothing wrong with that. Published first on Oz.

These PDF Vouchers are also found at https://hungryjacks.com.au/exclusivedeals

Valid until 1/4/19, although they cut them before expiry last time and released new vouchers with a price increase.

  • I knew I should of posted this…

    • I was waiting for you to post it

    • Could always post the boneless KFC offer, no one has done that

  • +1

    They are tiny.

  • Signed up and downloaded the app. No voucher on my account either. GG, deleting app too.

  • Can you still do the free chips and drink survey code with these offers on the app?

    • +1

      I believe you can.

      • Can't do shake n win at same time as using these vouchers/survey code. Had to do two orders which upset the operator.
In the end I got all of it for free, to hurry along the bank up of cats behind me.
        2 X whopper juniors
        1 X $3 bacon deluxe via shake n win
1 X small chips survey code
1 X small drink survey code.

        No charge.

Still have the vouchers on the app to use again.

        • Two orders and your operator is upset?
Our local HJ is use to families coming in with 4-5 phones!
That's 4-5 separate orders due to their one Shake N Win per order policy…
But they don't mind it haha
