  Definitely a good price. I was tossing up between this and the Sony HTS100F, would have bought this one at the price but ended up with the Sony just because it was cheaper at the time (and it's only for an outdoor TV).

  Kind of annoyed I didn't wait a few more weeks now!

  I picked this up through the $108(?) awesome buy approx 6 months ago. Great value for that money but I do find the audio a little muddy on some movies. The app is useful to add adjust settings on the fly (e.g. clear voice) and ARC works well on my new LG OLED (B8) tv.

  Torn between getting this or holding out on a deal for the ATS-207 (with sub).

  Anyone tried out both? is it worth holding out for?

    The 207 is at $335.75.. which is not a bad price..
    If this is for your main TV, I would recommend the 207.. i bought the 1080 for the master bedroom TV, cause I really don’t want the extra rumble of the sub..

  curious…I have my tv wall mounted above an unused fireplace, angles down towards the couch. Would it be suitable to place the soundbar above and slightly behind the tv so as to hide it slightly, or do you need to be able to see the IR receiver and ideally placed as close to ear level?

  Great soundbar for smaller lounge rooms or if you are in an apartment. Really liking mine. Recently started listening to CDs on a made in Japan Sony CD player attaches to this soundbar and the sound quality and reproduction is very good for the asking price.
