  • Seems to be a few discounts on these type of screens recently. Are there new models coming out soon?

  • Can anyone recommend a decent 32" 4K monitor with HDR under $1000?

      • +3

That's fakeDR.. only 300nits, no dimming etc. So you might get decent colour gradients but you definitely won't get any "punch" of brightness/colour volume which is what HDR is known for.

The closest you're going to get for under $1000 is the Philips 328P6VUBREB. HDR600 nits, 16 zones, $800.

Cheaper when eBay has 20% off from Futu = around $462.40 was what I paid

  • More screens like this!

  • How is this for gaming?

I'm currently deciding on this or the Acer Predator XB271UH

In currently using it for an Xbox one X and my PS4 Pro, I don't really have anything to compare it to but I've had no issues or complaints with it. I paid $1088 on the day it was released, RIP.

      • Plus 1 for you for your losses :(

What firmware version are you running? The latest v1011 can be downloaded on the Korean site:

I also use it for the xb1X, great pic no speakers in it so using audio from the controller with a set of headphones. The base has quite a large footprint.not real sure what the freesync range is, couldn't find any info for that

I bought one a few days ago from the deal I posted on it, and find it perfectly fine for 60Hz gaming owing to its low input lag.

The Acer is different beast (27" 1440P, 144Hz, G-Sync) so shouldn't be compared with this (32" 4K QLED, 60Hz, Freesync).

  • Unfortunately, Officeworks has no stock from what I gathered from their customer care. JB Hifi can't do a price match as it is an online only order.

  • hoping someone is still reading this thread. I got this monitor last week, and find two issues:-
    1. Connecting Logitech Z200 Speakers initially fires up the audio from the audio output selected as the Monitor, but after a while no sound!!!
    2. display intermittently goes black and comes back on without doing anything. This is more troublesome considering I might be typing something important and/or clicking/responding on emails.
anyone has faced similar issues? could there be anything wrong with the monitor or my settings?

    • The audio part could be the default audio output setting on your PC.

Not sure about the intermittent black out, have you tried using other cables or different input type?

      • Have tried and tested everything I know on my laptop. Sometimes troubleshooting the output device will get the speakers working, but only for a while.

        • You need to select that output that’s working as Default, then disable other output options

  • Use this to price match, but don't touch centre com with a 10 foot pole. Apart from being banned here for sockpuppeting, they lied to me about requiring personal details for a receipt, claimed it was legally required, and when I threatened to walk out stole my name off my credit card and didn't tell me until the transaction was completed.
