  • Toke rant comment about ebay plus being a waste of money

  • is this the one had battery explosion gate ?

    • No, that is the unavailable note 7.

    • Nopes. Newer version. Note 8 is relatively old but awesome

  • How is the battery life on these things compared to the note 9?

    • +1

Gives me a 12-16 hours heavy usage on a charge after year of use .

    • The note 8 battery life is crapola compared to my Note 9. I trade up to my current note 9 and the first immediate improvement was the longer SOT compared the Note 8. BUT I haven't tried with the recent Pie update with One UI.

Pie is definitely better than oreo in the battery management department.

You can say that with every phone.

Give your Note 9 a year then tell us how it is.

        • +1

Sure will do. I will comment on the Note 10 deals on the battery life.

          • @ChickenAdobo: Batteries degrade, software further influences it too…. Don't pretend the Note 9 is some magic phone. The Note 8 was good on launch too.

            • @scuderiarmani: It has a far bigger battery, so not sure why software and battery degradation is relevant here. He gave an honest response that seems to have gone straight over your head.

              • @Fabio08: More like every Android phone degrades over time. Is it that hard to understand that? If you are that naive well good for you.

The Note 8 is better than it's previous and so on and so on. But after a while they all go to shit.

Far bigger battery means nothing when the hardware and software influences how it uses it, let alone screen sizes etc etc.

                • @scuderiarmani: Phone processors are becoming far more efficient, so a jump from a 3300mAh battery to a 4000mAh battery is likely to have a pretty substantial impact. It's got nothing to do with android phones degrading over the period of a year, the hardware itself is better with a higher capacity battery.

Then again, if you are that naive, good for you.

                  • @Fabio08: Explain to my why an iPhone with a much lower battery capacity can be comparable?

                    Oh that's right. You can't.

                    Battery capacity is meaningless.

Naive. All lithium batteries lose capacity.

                    • @scuderiarmani: Battery capacity is meaningless, oh man… As a wise man once said, if you are that naive, good for you LOL.

                      • @Fabio08: Yeah just ignore everything I said. Why do every phones battery life's decrease over time? Why does Apple get away with smaller capacities?

Geez you are like talking to a brick wall.

You asked the question and now you are questioning the responses? Lol.

                        Don't bother asking then.

                        • @scuderiarmani: No no, I listened to you. A batteries actual capacity has no bearing on the performance of battery life and is completely irrelevant. Heard you loud and clear, it's meaningless.

                          • @Fabio08: You read spec sheets and just go on numbers? You know what that is called? Naive.

Im telling you that real life isn't what you read on a spec sheet. Without factoring in what else influences it. You asked the question, if you know everything don't bother asking.

I take it you think a 150w speaker is louder than a 100w hey?
