    As long as the app supports, you can turn every cardboard holder into a FFV, I used to use cardboard as a FFV flying my $29 Kogan (the DIY drone) at home.

  You can’t wear FPV goggles to fly drone in Australia, it is illegal.

    Yeah I didn't think so either. Seems it's possible if it's still VLOS. Or you have a second person.

    But really the main reason is that it's harder to control the drone and avoid smashing into things.
