Sorry no experience with either but I did own a few Billion modems. The 5xxx series has much lower quality than the 7xxx series IMHO…
Scotty, when you say lower quality, do u mean lower signal or build quality?

Sorry should have made myself clearer. It's the build quality. I had a 5100w died on me (actually my parent's) after just one year of use. Other 5xxxx I've had access to also feels "cheaper" than 7xxx (but yes, they are much cheaper).

Exactly — I hate it when you have to go all the way to create an account, check out, filling delivery address, and then it shows you the delivery cost. I usually just give up if I cannot find the "Shipping Cost" link…
