Looks like some pretty good pricing on some decent gear. Credit to OP (adgnetworks) who got unpublished as didn't include any deals. Had a look and some great deals on tents, sleeping bags and bags. Checked pricing vs tentworld etc and significantly cheaper for tent and sleeping bag listed in title.

    Just got the last of my four orders first. Called to cancel a tent after cancelling a week ago and it was due to be sent today… they are inundated, customer service officer said their site had been crashed over 20 times with volume of orders and that packing was delayed as there had been a heap of cancellations and refunds. Said rest of my stuff would come (ordered on 28/2) but not sent yet.

    Got an email 5 days ago saying that my item had been over sold and that unfortunately I would be receiving a refund.
    Didn’t get the refund, but got an email today saying that it had been shipped, along with a tracking number which is now working.

    • Finally got a shipping email for one parcel, (5 items) this morning.
      No refund email or anything to my email enquiries prior to this.

      • I got some stuff, and emails saying they're sending more stuff.
        They also seem to be working backwards - later orders first.

        No emails? - i'd say you're probably ok.

    My second order is coming first, and my first order is now shipping as well.

    Given it is a clearance sales, I don't mind waiting a little. As they were quick to charge my card I was pretty keen on them delivering. In my view, once you charge the card you sealed the deal.If, as a merchant, there is a doubt about delivering, it is best not to charge until you are sure.

      • Well contractually you are in a much stronger position as a contract has been formed. That enables you to seek damages for breach, not merely a refund. Most won't chase it up, but I can be a pita if I want to be.

        Anyway, my first order, shipped second, arrived first.

        They are clearly having issues with the clearance sale but I am happy with the end result, as my larger order is here.

        • You'll most likely find a term in their T&C's, which will form part of this contract that you speak of, that will say something like "we can cancel for any reason at all including that grandma has pooped her pants".

          I've got all my stuff.

    My whole order came today - got the (two) things I ordered with the hugely discounted prices.
    Surprised but very happy with Black Wolf indeed.

    I never got an e-mail confirmation, nor did I sign up with an account (checked out as guest) - I only got a PayPal receipt of the purchase on the day that I bought it.

    Got my last order yesterday but was missing a bag. I called today and they said they had run out of them and that they would process a refund and didn't know why I hadn't got any contact about it. Processed refund then got a call ten minutes later saying that the bag was on its way as a separate order and could I please pay for it again.

    I asked them if they knew why they had so many orders and they said they had been put on Ozbargain… She said it had tested their resources and they learned a lot of lessons…

    I asked why people were being told stuff was sold out and their order couldn't be fulfilled yet it was listed on their website at full price. She said that this was the new stock, that they had been clearing out old versions of stock in the clearance.

      I've had no email, no refund and no return contact from any of my online enquiries…
      I said I wanted a refund, since I bought it 01/03 and I've had nothing…
      I was told it was being delivered tomorrow, (Wednesday)…or maybe the day after, (Thursday) but could even be Friday.

      They sure were, which is fine be me.
      There was some paperwork in mine suggesting i enter a competition - thing is entries closed some time in 2014 from memory.
