    Max is 40w in total so you can't max out all port at once. Most likely you would never max out all 5 ports? 18w for the fast charge port and 22w for the other ports.

  I have one of these, use the QC port for iPhone X, and the other ports for iPad, iPhone and 2 x Kindles while travelling no issues.
  Getting a second one now since the other works so well.

  It shows up as a $34.15 item for me… what am I missing?!

  I own this device since several years. The QC3 port stopped working after a few months. It's still in service as my primary USB charger though, and overall I'm satisfied other than the QC3 port having died.

  I would prefer a different form factor than a box with a small figure 8 two wire power cable in the back….

  I have five of these, one recently went out with a loud bang and a flash and the smell of burnt electrical. It is near impossible to claim these under warranty, just be prepared to purchase another if they stop working…. The unit was four months old.
