Shipping is $15, making it $55. Standard eBay price is $60, without coupon. So the supposed savings are somewhat exaggerated.

  • $5 off for new accounts

This or you could check your local ALDI for a similar one with a more reasonable price.

Agreed.. Just picked up an aluminium dish rack from my local Aldi for $24.99 this morning.

    • I tried 3 different Aldi's… All sold out 😥

  • My Deal imo is one website to stay away from, I wish I'd checked product review before buying from them. https://www.productreview.com.au/p/mydeal-com-au.html

I couldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. Quite simply put the product I bought was just the most shit quality I've evr bought plus it arrived 6 weeks later then promised.

This was my experience - we bought furniture (a cupboard) and were informed 1-10 days delivery (to go from Penrith to Sydney) but it took 6 weeks. Chasing this up with their customer service and courier was painful, we either got no response or lip-service - insincere generic email responses, for example they say they want feedback to improve the service but this kind of thing happens quite regularly based on hundreds of reviews, they do try to make it seem like they're doing something to help but clearly their priority is new customer sales and not customer service.

When it arrived the first thing we thought was wow what a piece of shit it is! The carton was damaged, the laminate scratched through, there were missing pieces required for assembly and what's more everything was covered in some fiberglass dust, made a real good mess on the carpet and we had to wipe every surface down and do a big cleanup.

Having invested so much time and effort chasing and partly assembling the stupid thing, we didn't entertain the thought of returning so decided to wait for the manufacturer to send out the missing parts - they took another fortnight and so it was 8 weeks in total and we now have the worst bit of furniture imaginable, doors don't even close properly, shelves crooked and flimsy.

So moral of the story for me was, don't trust the spiel from unknown sellers but always check reviews and go for reputable sellers e.g Aldi where returns are never a problem, ahead of saving a few bucks.
