  • Time to stock up on Google play credit for cheaper Netflix!

    • i thought you cannot
      do this anymore?

      • I'm still subscribed since before when you could

        • +1

Probably cheaper and less effort to pay via Turkey

    • Does Office work price match/beat these?

  • Is it worth stocking up at this price?

I have a daughter that's still size 2 so won't be size 4 for a while but I'm willing to stock up if this is a good deal.

Hoping somebody can help me out. Ty

They go half price every few months or so

    • -2

Not even worth buying at this price in my opinion. Works out to be around 29ish cents per nappy. I prefer to pay around 25c or less

    • +2

Worth stocking up on the current promo at $25 a box for ultimate nappies

    • Only if you have space to store it.

    • The Ultra drys are not very good, our kids a lot of rash when we use them.

  • +2

Aren't huggies having issues. Many are complaining of rashes after use.

    • +5

I think you could say that for any brand..coems to the kids rather than the product.. Been using for years .. No issues..

      • very true, inspite of mixed reviews we started with Coles brand CUB and we had nil issues.

        • Fun observation… Except for prints, Coles CUB nappies (at least in size 4) are identical to Aldi nappies, while Woolworths Little Ones nappies (again, size 4) are identical to Baby Love nappies (my favourite).

I'm pretty sure CUB and Little Ones nappy pants are identical too, but haven't had both on hand simultaneously to compare. I haven't tried Aldi nappy pants yet (they don't have ~10-15kg nappy pants).

Bonus, Moonies nappy pants (find them in some Japanese grocery stores and online) are very similar to the excellent Baby Love nappy pants, with a few extra features and more capacity.

          • @Ashton: I didnt know aldi sells nappy pants. As I alternate with Aldi nappies during day and one size up nappy pants - babylove at night.

    • No issues here.

Try ALDI the best amongst all available nappies

Until you use them at night and it leaks and you have double the washing to do. Huggles is hands down best, it has a 12 hour no leak guarantee, I’ve tested 13 hours at night on my little one, heavy nappy, no leak.

        • +4

We normally change every 4 hours regardless they are full or not.

          • +4

@Ronthecrypto: You must get very little sleep

            • @Quantumcat: not really. its our first baby though and he wakes up after 3-4 hrs for a feed. we change nappy at the same time.

              • +1

@Ronthecrypto: Your baby is probably a lot younger than these nappies are for - my niece is 13kg and 16 months old. She doesn't need feeding during the night.

          • +1

@Ronthecrypto: We did at the start, but after some advice from other parents, we decided not to. And found that to be better of us.

Our baby finds it really hard to sleep, and re sleep. So waking by changing nappies every 4 hours would be a nightmare.

        • +1

We used aldi throughout the day and a better, more expensive nappy at night.

          • @afoveht: You can just use Aldi one size up during the night. I do this as well as ulternate with baby love nappy pants

            • @sagrules: Good idea. But hopefully I'll never need to use nappies again.

        • Never had an issue with leakage with Aldi (day or night). Suggests you try out all of these and decide for yourself. Having said that, I personally feel that 12+ hours for a single nappy is a bit overkill for the babies (does not matter it is Huggies or Mamma Mia).

          • @NeverMissABargain: Yea,I do feel bad that my Bub stays in nappy for 12 hours. But waking and changing means no more sleep for us or Bub for ages…so pros and cons.

And tried a few brands, Aldi included, and Huggies wins hands down.

      • Definitely not, tried aldi ones, thinner, less soft, have a chemical smell, worth the price, but not as good as name brands, babylove by day, huggies by night

    • There is a group where they have pictures of chemical like burns from using the Disney branded huggies.
We feel the new midtier ultradry ones aren't as good quality as the old design and had more leaks.
Moved over to "Rascal + Friends" nappies.

    No deals for adult nappies?

  • The Google Play Card is used to be 20% off… too bad… only 10% these days

  • What is the smallest Google Play credit you can buy?

  • I was using ultra dry nappy pants for quite some time and had no issues with leakages etc esp. at night. Since buying the ‘new’ ones they have been terrible leaking at night and only lasting couple of hours. Best wait for huggies ultimate sale if there ever is one…

  • FYI for those wanting to stock up on huggies nappies
    There is a recall
    https://www.change.org/p/kimberley-clark-aussie-parents-dema…

    • +1

That's parents wanting a recall…. it hasn't been recalled yet.

      • Sorry should of been more specific, but the issue still stands it should already have been recalled

    • Strange, my kid has been fine with them.

Although I would say I prefer the previous version of both the regular and ultimate versions of huggies for my kids.

  • Does anyone know if you can use gift cards to purchase Google Play gift cards?
