Waiting to get the season 1-8
It always the way. Box sets usually work out cheaper for each season than buying a box set and then having to buy additional season which are usually more expensive individually. At least with GOT we know the final season 8 is just around the corner so IMO better to wait for a complete series box set.
BluRay same price as DVD, too, which is a nice change.
Was hoping for a generic coupon for extra 5-10% off but ah well.

Yes it does. But you'd need 4K to tell a real difference.
The physical discs have superior Audio and colour. The lossless audio makes it a lot clearer especially with speech.
Video is better because of bitrate.
Audio is the same because AAC audio compression is transparent.
I’ve been watching GoT on Blu-ray, literally just finished S04E08.
It’s a series definitely worth only on Blu-ray. It looks and sounds incredible. The later seasons even have Atmos.
Which part of it that's worth watching it in Blu-ray?
How many of us subscribed to Foxtel Now with access to all 7 seasons of GoT are still thinking of purchasing the 7 seasons set on BluRay at the discounted price?
Me, (probably) I did that for Breaking Bad..full seasons available on Stan but I still went ahead and bought the complete seasons on Blu Ray, I don't have foxtel though but I know I'll just do the same..show is too good not to have the memorabilia for it.
Any 4k bargains cheaper than amazon sales?

I noticed significant price rises for some titles:
Friends 1-10 BL: was 99 now 125;
James Bond Collection BL: was 145 now 240
…probably the same reasoning that computer alliance guy said - market fluctuations………and they change prices in realtime based on these…..
Price of X-Men 4k collection went down for a while, plus discount = $39 for 3 discs is a nice deal.
Want both box sets but think i will wait for the buy one get one free coming up in a few months
