According to Press Start, Harvey Norman is having a video game clearance starting tonight at midnight. The prices below are with the 5% off code ‘GAMESCENTRAL’. I have submitted the page listing the game price from low to high when the deals are live at midnight. Hope this is alright, its my first post here!

Shipping seems to be pretty expensive but maybe amazon will price match.
Thanks to user RichardL, i used a free trial of Shipter to get free postage on my order.

      It's going to depend on your situation then (if your local Harvey Norman has stock, and how close it is etc.).
      
      I had assumed they wouldn't because it's a clearance sale and the stock situation was low.

HN not honouring my order — just visited the Melbourne CBD QV store and attendant advised that they’ve received thousands of orders (at least for Far Cry 5), most of which will not be fulfilled (including mine as I was ‘too slow’). It kills me too because I could see a pile of copies of Far Cry 5 in the store room behind the attendant, but all of those had been the subject of ‘ready for pickup’ emails for other customers (as opposed to my inferior ‘order “not so” confirmed’ email).

Got a text and email saying ready to pickup in store.

Then someone called citing a "clerical error" and the games were available only on PS4 (as opposed to Xbox One).

So I said, that's fine, I'll get them on the PS4, to which she said no, we don't have any stock.

Ha ! .. What is going on here .. Surely they have to stand by their orders!?

My FC5 (PC) just shipped. Initially tried placing the order about 10am and got out of stock error after I submitted paypal payment! However, I kept the order in cart and when I tried again after 10:30, it went though and it just shipped now.

    Which there is no excuse for and is pathetic. Multi site inventory management systems exist and are used by plenty of businesses. Harvey Norman is perfectly ok to take payment (cash) despite not knowing if they can actually fulfill an order. It's poor business. But I guess really we know that.

For anybody that has ordered to pick up in store just head into your store to check, or ring.
I placed order about 9 am and my order was still processing. Went into the store about 20 minutes ago and they had the order out the back and my order had Far Cry 5, so still hope for others.
My store also had South Park when site does not even list it now, so maybe other stores will have games that have been sold out on site and not showing.

How do they prevent staff from buying them? I called them this morning and the staff told me that there was plenty of stock available and he was like "oh wow that so cheap, I am gonna buy one myself". Took me 20 mins to get there and they were all gone, so annoyed about that. But I feel like the staff kept/bought at-least a few copies for themselves and the stock ran out pretty quick.

HN are a joke. I luckily managed to order 2x copies each of Far Cry and Just Dance 2019. Got a call this morning from the store saying they didn't have sufficient stock but could give me 1 of each instead of 2. OK I'll accept that.

Turn up to the store and they've got 2x Just Dance for me and 0x Far Cry. When I enquire what's going on they said 'we had lots of theft from the shop floor so didn't have enough stock'.

I don't believe that for a moment. Have you seen those locked plastic cases they store them in on the displays…?

How can one store repeatedly run online sales that always mess up.

  Its called bait and switch, and its now of epidemic proportions following the deliberate removal of fair trading laws and tribunals by both the liberals and labour.
  
  We even have fake legislation these days like telecoms policies which literally no-one enforces. You gotta admire pollies who get paid to do sweet fa, and pay out millions in taxes to bodies who do literally nothing for Australian consumers except look the other way.
  
  Particularly love the Liberal one about as long as a single item is available in one store in a 50km radius its ok to advertise it as available to purchase in a cataloque distributed to over 50,000 people. With people in charge using logic like that its reasonable to assume we are all screwed - oh and it needn't be on display because if its in warehouse within the 50km's that counts as well.

I was very happy with my order. I ordered just dance and farcry. Got a call saying farcry out of stock but can swap for another game. They let me swap for a game in the 18 dollar clearance section.

I can’t complain on that.

I ordered Farcry just 10 minutes after it went live (around 9.10am). They did not have stock and now have contacted their suppliers for more stocks to fulfil the orders. If they don't have it by tomorrow, they will refund people. Meh..

Ordered Far Cry with 5 mins of being live. Paid for delivery. It finally shipped yesterday and is onboard the courier today. Funny came fom the Gold Coast and I am on the Northside of Brisbane. I guess paying the extra delivery fee meant it wasn't as easy to cancel as a walk in order?

  HN CS told me if it's a click and collect they will only try and source a copy from the shop and other nearby stores before either calling customer or canceling.
  
  But if it's a delivery order they will automatically try and source from all HN, Domayne and Joyce Mayne stores Australia wide as well as supplier.
