No I think the models with '2X' on the end have 2 batteries.
We have the master and are impressed by the machine having had lots of Dysons previously. Better than the V8 in terms of performance but the dual batteries makes it worth the change alone.

The Xiaomi Dreame seems to get great reviews on OzB for a lower price tag (early days though). I wonder how this vac fares in comparison?
Interested in this. Would it be better to spend a tiny bit more to get a local product with better support, or is the Dreame much more advanced?
Dreame is under $300 through Gearbite at the moment with local warranty.
