      I put my Fitbit inside my sock around my ankle. Heart rate still reads on this part of the body so you get an all day heart rate and my steps are less than 1% different from what is counted on my Apple Watch

    Just ordered one. Interested to hear how others have gone with the Fitbit's software interface etc. now that they have blood oxygen monitors… (I'm planning an endurance event in November)

      I've got the Charge 3 and it's been great to track my HR and sleep patterns! They haven't enabled the use of the blood oxygen monitors yet so I'm not sure when that comes out. Battery life is great and software imo is perfectly geared to fitness use.

        Just the color of the wristband. Both normal and special edition in Australia, i.e. Aus stock, have Fitbit Pay.

          Oh what… So this normal one comes with pay as well! I literally just commented their site is misleading because when you click into item description there's a dude paying but nothing in the description mentioned pay

          On the website at https://www.fitbit.com/au/fitbit-pay there is a picture of a guy paying with the device.

          Underneath the picture it says "Available on Ionic, Versa and Charge 3" then a little asterisk.

          Right down at the very bottom of the page, it says - in minuscule font and in a colour that nearly matches the background (so it is almost invisible):

          • "Fitbit Pay is only available on Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Versa special editions and Charge 3 special edition"

            @GordonR: That is true for the U.S. market where Fitbit Pay is only available for special editions. I believe they did not correct it on the Aus website.

            Check https://www.fitbit.com/au/charge3 or have a look at the side of the box if you are at the retail store - there is a Fitbit Pay logo. Fitbit Pay is available for all Aus stock and I can confirm this because I have one myself.

            Note that the non special editions from Asos.com.au are overseas stocks and do not come with Fitbit Pay.
