Thanks OP. Does anyone know if you can do a price beat on a discount code price like this?

Edit: I googled the answer… Nope.

I remember eBays EOFY quick sale thing, the last week of June, and this went for $799

Crazy price at the time, but would've thought it'd be lower now

    • Was that the lowest its been for this phone? I want to get one for my mom

      • Technically this is the lowest for Australian stock haha, by a dollar fifty. I don't think I've seen it lower previously (AU stock)

        • 😎 new record by me lol

    • This price is lower (:

      • For extra ~ $80 you could get 256GB.

Simply not cheap enough, buy the S10 instead, wake me when under $500

When you are going to spend that much on a phone already, might as well put in an extra 200 and get the latest. I think a lot of retailers, inc online, are going to be stuck with a lot of s9, s9+ stock for a while as they seem to think people will buy just to save a 100 or 2. As the S10 price drops that usual little bit, the difference will be even less

Prezactly, and currently throwing in the ear-buds

        • So many buds on ebay currently. Prob lucky to even get $140 for them soon. Resale value may even drop to $100 when everyone gets around to listing them

    • Good night sleeping beauty.

      I don't even think brand new Galaxy S 7's are under $500

      • he's gonna get the s9 in 2025

    • Agreed. Valuing the earbuds at $200, I got my S10+ for ~$950

      • Where from, what deal, what size, dual sim

Oh, and what is it like?

        Thanks

Just the 128gb version. Coming from an S6, I'm undecided on the larger size and wondering if I should've just gone for the S10e.
I preordered from Amazon.com.au and purchased with a 28 degrees card with price protection. So stacking 5% Cashrewards, 15% mobileciti price match, galaxy buds etc it came down to around $950. And if it drops further within a year I can keep claiming for price protection. Hope that helps!

I believe cheapest it’s been recently was jb at $750 last month? Hoping it goes down to $700 shortly

    • -4

$700 is the max id pay for a Samsung phone. When I got my 6 edge for $700 it was the latest, admittedly the s7 came out not long after.

      • what's the max you'd pay for an iPhone?

      • so you wouldnt pay $750 for the samsung fold phone?

        • by the time I decided they would be ozbargained

    • $799, but price matching with OW i got it for $756

      • +1

Extremely lucky, because as per normal they don't match with codes.

        • +1

No, i mean it was $799 last month at JB Hifi and price matched then.

3 Month warranty in a generic box yeah good luck with that

You right, but have a look https://ebay.us/DDBn0c $700 Sealed original box, Factory Sealed with Extended 2 Years Warranty! I don't think Good Guys is a big deal.

        • Yeah thats fine but you are comparing oranges with apples. Comparing a product you can directly take to Samsung Aus and get fixed straight away or replaced etc (current vaid warranty) vs sending it back to them and waiting god knows how long. I dont think you posting on this thread has any actual input since you cant read 2 seconds into what they're selling…..

Although the manufacturer warranty period has expired, we offer a 100% hassle-free 2 year seller warranty for all our units. The warranty covers any form of defect or workmanship error. Unlike most other resellers, we do not repair returned items (if any). We choose to exchange it with a brand new unit instead for your peace of mind.

        • Single SIM :-(
