    • See other deal for "spend $600, get $150 back"

      • I wonder if they stack

        • Sounds like they do and I have had offers stack with other retailers (e.g. David Jones).

Next question is if we can split payment?

          • @imaxsameer: That would be a dream. Except I'm struggling to think of what Sony products I want to buy that are worth that kind of money.

            • @lostn: I am in the market for an OLED tv and have both offers saved across 6 cards which gives me $3.6k to play with (after price match).

              • @imaxsameer: Do they sell anything else that's good?

If I were in the market for an OLED I'd probably prefer LG.

  • I've split payments at the sonystore before, so having both Sony offers for all 3 of my AMEX cards is fantastic!

  • Also, Sony Store usually price matches other bricks'n'mortar stores

Which Sony Store let's you split payment? Online or a physical store? It seems that the physical stores are excluded from this offer.

    • Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $300 or more, in one or more transactions, online or in-store at SONY by 17/05/2019 to receive one $50 credit

      • OP didn't post the terms and conditions, one of which is

Excludes the following locations: Sony Kiosk Highpoint and all Sony Centres, Sony Authorised Retailers, Camera Specialists and Service Centres

        • Isn't a Sony Centre different to a Sony Kiosk? So I would argue that you can use it at the Parramatta, Chatswood and Castle Hill (NSW) stores.

I think the only Sony Centre is out in Victoria somewhere

          • @kerfuffle: Correct, Sony centre is not the same as Sony kiosk.

Amex always have always excluded Sony centres

          • @kerfuffle: So is the summary that the only physical place to redeem this deal is at non-Highpoint Kiosks? Otherwise the only other option is online?

            Do Kiosks pricematch?

            • @Hogg: Yes to non-Highpoint kiosks and I don’t know about price matching; I don’t work for Sony. Try it out and let us know

              • +1

@kerfuffle: Haha sorry about the price matching question.

I kinda replied to you since yours was the most relevant and I recognise your username but it was sorted of directed at the whole thread.

                My bad.

And yes, I will find out :)

                  @Hogg:

                  Do Kiosks pricematch?

they usually do (no eBay tho)

                  • @snvl: Thanks for that. I'll check out their range on the weekend. This will be a great deal if they price match.

          • +1

@kerfuffle: yes, only one kiosk is excluded.
being in Vic I have no other in-store options.

  • Hopefully sony has a sale on a decent TV sometime soon!

  • WTH…No Sony Centre or Kisoks in WA.

  • I am confused it says excludes "all Sony Centres"

I am in Melb Victoria which physical stores can I go to then?

I tried the "visit participating stores button" via the amex app but it just takes to Sony Webpage

    • +1

don't think we have anywhere to go.

  • Regarding stacking, I registered for the $600 get $150 back through offers in the App and then attempted to register for this deal (manually through direct link). A message came up stating that I had already registered for the offer.

    • I registered manually for the $600 and then had this showing as an offer on the portal.

  • Anyone tried buying $600 in gift cards and getting the statement credits?
