I gotta say, that the best green curry is the packet of Mae Ploy Green Curry Paste & a can of coconut cream milk. It's hot as, though…I double the meat & add small diced potatoes (pre-cooked) to the wok to carry some of the heat. fyi :)

    • Where do you get it, Coles?
Been looking for a good green curry "recipe".

Yep, Coles. If you've ever had the green chicken curry from Han's Cafe, it's exactly that. Utterly delicious.

Just make sure not to get any of that paste near your eyes!

  • Not sure why Green Curry is cheaper than all the rest ($9.80 to price match WW special.)

Mamas making Kantong, doesn't take long something something something something!

  • There is a market for spam…..

  • This is pre made sauce not curry paste, so you wouldn't need to add coconut milk etc

Having said that 1 jar of normal curry paste would cost less than this and last just as long …

    • Yes, it's obviously pre-made—> it's in a jar.

Was adding that the Mae Ploy tastes authentic (from Thailand), not like the bland westernized jar sauces. It's also very cheap, even at full price.

This week, 90 cents + $1 for the coconut cream. Best tasting green curry I've had.

      Cheers

      • There is a philosophical tradition that holds all sauces and pastes are pre made given the object is the curry which will need a sauce or a paste that HAS been made prior to the event.

  • Might be worth it considering these normally sell for $3.30 each

But I'd rather pay the $1.65 for one than $7.35 for 6 because I don't need six (and I can choose other flavours with the one).

  • Cheap but don’t really want 6.
